A beautiful serene setting for the week of Thanksgiving

  • 5 of 5

I found this lovely gem while on the Cape in July and was so happy it was available for the week of Thanksgiving as it was only about 3 miles from my brothers house. It is a spacious home in a tranquil setting. The kitchen had everything you would need for the dishes I was to bring to my brothers home. It was an easy and enjoyable walk to the beach and with the mild temperatures, only a sweatshirt was needed. It's located in a lovely quiet neighborhood and being on the marsh, allowed for the sounds of many types of birds.

Great location for family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The quiet neighborhood and beautiful view from the deck led to a calm and relaxing week. When we did venture out, we were a short drive away from many activities (beach/kayaking, playground, mini golf/amusement park) for our children to enjoy. The house had everything we could ask for and was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again!

A Wonderful Cape Cod Perch

  • 5 of 5

We felt at home immediately in this very comfy house. A criteria for our rental was a view and watching the salt marsh ebb and flow along with all the bird and wildlife was a high point for our vacation. Even mellowed out our energetic Aussie who seemed content to layout on the deck. Loved the open living room with the wall of windows. Allowed for a view even on the cool mornings. The location is perfect. We enjoyed the daily walks to Gray's Beach and exploring all the side roads of Yarmouth, Brewster and Dennis. Good central location to all points of the Cape. Nice neighborhood and nice neighbors. It was just the two of us, with guests for a few overnights. Great house to entertain in.

October trip to the Cape

  • 4 of 5

We were very pleased with this rental. We had 5 guys getting together for our 60th birth years and we all wanted to have our own beds. The house has two twin beds, a full bed and a full convertible sofa that accommodated 4 of us. We made a "bed" on the living room floor out of the extra supply of mattress pads that were readily available for the fifth guy and everyone slept like babies. the neighborhood is very nice, and quiet. The views off the back deck are really nice. I would recommend this rental and hope to use it again.

Quiet Cape Cod Home .

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this Yarmouth Port home tucked away in a little corner of paradise . We loved the central location which seemed to be just a short drive to the major attractions of the Cape. We will be returning in the future . Thanks to the A*plus owner for communication and having the home fully stocked with all we needed .

We loved this house. The view from the livingroom is gorgeous. We love the Great Marsh and the view of Barnstable Harbor. The house was clean and well cared for. We had everything we needed-- plenty of sheets, towels etc all available to us. The owner was helpful and even gave us his number to call if there were problems. We noted only two downsides. 1. The Keurig coffee machine was not what we were used to and it seemed hard and expensive to be able to make only one cup at a time. It might be a good idea to have a Mr. Coffee or other machine for people who want many cups at once. 2. The beds were very hard, and this made it difficult to get comfortible. We note that this is a matter of taste, and other renters might love a super-hard mattress. We recommend the house to anyone who would like a lovely, quiet spot for a Cape Cod stay.

Owner's Response: Hi Janet, Thank you for the very nice review. We have addressed the concerns you noted which I appreciate your candid honesty. The coffee pot situation can be an issue because some people put the coffee grinds in the sink which we do not want to contaminate the septic system. We have found the Keurig to be less expensive because so much of the coffee pot sometimes goes to waste. We do have a Mr. Coffee which I can provide for future renters with a note about our septic concern. I agree the mattresses are hard. We did purchase mattress pads which are in the closet. I will be sure the house cleaners put them on for our future guests. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you again for the review. I appreciate it. Dave
