This home is located in the Frangista Beach area of Destin, convenient to Silver Sands Factory Stores and Destin Commons. About 75 yards to the beach. Walking distance to lots of local Resturants and shopping. Home rents Saturday to Saturday during peak season.

This is a very spacious & comfortable home and we were exceedingly happy that they allowed pets.
Pros: Prime location in the Miramar area, secure neighborhood, fairly quiet neighborhood, pet friendly, open interior & well laid out floor plan, very comfortable beds, plenty of living and outdoor seating.
Cons: Zero yard privacy, cleanliness could use some improvement, replace pillows (they've all gone flat).
We visit Destin to get away and relax after the long and busy holidays. This house was perfect for that. It is very well represented in the online photos. Also, as stated above, the beds were very comfy. Not your typical dented, roll into the center worn out beds. Thank goodness! Loved that! It is also great for walking your dogs and within feet of the public pet area. It is also not very far from the beach. Though we did not make it out there. A few small improvements and this would be a perfect 5 star.
Privacy - this home is somewhat of an island. It has really no yard but a pretty little pool. Though the pool is surrounded by a fence (not privacy & not locked) we woke to children from a neighboring home in our pool area. We enjoy the door blinds being open to let in light as the sun rises, not so great to have visitors or wide views to the surrounding driveway from 3 sides and uninvited guests in the rear of your rental. As far as cleanliness, I'm hyper critical and a bit of a clean freak. I hate smudged, finger printed walls, peeling paint, etc. Please don't misunderstand, this home was not filthy just a bit overlooked.
One thing that I'd like to bring to the owner or operator's attention. On our check out day, the front door (coded) promptly locked and restricted our entrance at 9am, in the middle of packing cars. Thank heavens we had also exited from the rear. I don't know if that was set that way, but check-out states 10am. It could have just been a glitch or error but we were a bit panicked for a few minutes. Other than this, I would definitely recommend this rental property.
Everything it said it was. Easy to get in and out of the neighborhood. Very quiet even with construction going on next door. Everything worked that we used. Will be back.
Our family really enjoyed the home as it was nice and just the right size.
Only a few things that we were not happy with. The pool area does not have any lighting so the kids were not able to stay in the back as safety is our number one priority and didn't want anyone to get hurt. As well as the pool light did not work. We contact the company and someone emailed me right away but NO ONE EVER came out to fix the light and again the kids were not able to swim after dark because of this. The pool is a little small but we still enjoyed it. Also the stove needs to be replaced as the burners did not stay on. It would come on and off as we were cooking. Maintenance came by the house but for a previous request so i wonder how long that request was submitted which at that point we knew the pool light was not going to be fixed for the time that we would be staying there.
Again the home is very nice and in a very nice area but those small details would of been a little more helpful to have. Thank you.
