Worked great for 2 families of 5, plus Nana
We stayed here for three nights with my sister's family. We each have 3 kids, 1 boy (13), 5 girls total (12, 16, 17, 20, 20). The girls stayed in the bunk room together, which sleeps 5 including the mattress on the floor that pulls out. My boy stayed in the loft pull-out. The parents stayed in the two queens, one on the highest level, one on the lowest level. Nana slept on the couch (evidently a pullout but she didn't use it). We had a great stay. The house had all the pots/pans, silverware and dishes you'll need. There were clean linens and towels. The washer/dryer and dishwasher was convenient too. The house was very clean, which pleased my clean-freak wife. :) The property manager, Brenda was very accommodating, cordial and low-key. She made it a painless process throughout.

(The only reason I didn't check "Families with young children" is because of the open stairwell railings. Parents with toddlers would need a few gates and barricades around the stairwells, but kids at least 4 would be fine.)
The booking takes a lot of time and l energy!
We planned this vacation for a trip to storyland. The location is convenient and close to the local areas, however this is probably the only positive for this rental. First, there is no a/c here. For us it was not a big deal since it wasn't very hot that weekend but I can imagine it being a problem during mid-summer. Second, the realtor was nearly impossible to get a hold of. I have rented numerous times in the past, mostly directly with owners, and I would have to say this is the worst experience yet. This deal took way longer to book due to her unavailability. She never answered her phone and I had to leave numerous messages which at times she would not return. The only reason why I stuck with this rental was because it fit within our budget. If you have the time and patience to badger someone who is never available, then this might be your place!
If it weren't for such a bad experience with the realtor I would have given it 4 stars because the place is well equipped and nice.
As we all know; there are always two sides to the story. In reviewing my correspondence with the guest I found a message where she actually said she was sorry for not getting back to me within the time frame as she had been working in the evening time and hadn’t had a chance to check her emails. We did play phone tag but I did my best to stay in touch with emails. I acknowledged it was a very busy time of year for everyone and that we work very hard 7 days a week to get our units ready for our guest and keep them nice so they enjoy their stay. Our typical check out is 10:00 am and I extended her check out until noon so that she and her family could take their time to pack and leave. I shared with them some of my favorite spots and even offered to turn the lights on for them if they were checking in late. My personal goal is always customer satisfaction and I will do my very best to make it happen. I would like to reach out to the folks that feel the need to write a negative review; please contact the owners/managers first and give them the opportunity to work with you to find a satisfactory solution. We all really appreciate the opportunity to share our homes with you and welcome you to our community. Thank you Brenda

Cancellation Policy; notice must be given 30 days prior to your arrival to receive a refund of deposit/prepayment. There will be a $100.00 administration fee per unit deducted from any refund. Should cancellation occur after the 30 day period, your deposit/prepayment cannot be refunded. Rates are subject to change without notice until your reservation has been confirmed. Check -in /Check-out. Check in time is 3:00 pm or after. Check Out time is 10:00 am unless arrangement have been made prior to your arrival.
We have a 2 night minimum stay. A 50% deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. We accept ViISA/MC/AMX/DISC. the balance must be paid 14 days prior to your arrival and will automatically be charged to your credit card. if the reservation is made within the 2 week prior to your stay, the entire rental amount will be charged at the time of reservation. Rates are subject to change .
