A cozy holiday rental apartment in a quiet neighborhood in close proximity to downtown.

The apartment is only 400 meters from a restaurant, grocery shop and a bakery.

The apartment is 100 square meter with two bedrooms, full equipped kitchen, living room, storage room with a washing machine and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment is well organized and is located on the ground floor with a private entrance right in front of the parking space. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet and a 32' flat screen TV with a DVD player & a lot of DVD's to choose from.

Plenty of space for a family to spread out and eat in.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed but for additional travellers extra mattresses can be provided.

There is 1 couch that children can easily sleep on.

We offer a home like environment which appeals to travellers who do not like cold hotel environments.

The kitchen is equipped for cooking full meals.There is a full dining and kitchen table for meals.

We have a private parking spot in front of the entrance to the apartment.

Towels and linens are provided upon arrival.

A beautiful park is only 200 meters walking distance from the apartment. In it are great lanes for cyclists and runners. The park is also fantastic for taking a walk and watch the birds swimming in the pond.

And just a few minutes out of the city you have all the great nature that Iceland has to offer.

Excellent Apartment

The apartment was easy to find with Helga's directions. Very spacious and cosy, a real home from home. Helga was very welcoming and responded promptly to all our email questions. Would definitly recommend and stay here again.

Highly recomend staying at Helga"s lovely home

The apartment was neat, spacious and had everything we needed. It was within walking distance from a few Restraunts and a small grocery store. We would absolutely stay here again. The place is quiet which we loved. Parking was easy and Helga was absolutely trustworthy and assisted us with reserving the booking.

Great, Spacious Apartment

Helga's apartment was spacious and clean and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We were a family of five adults and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at this apartment. It was a short walk to a small shopping area that included a great bakery and pizza restaurant. Every morning, we walked to the little bakery for fresh bread and baked goods to start our day. Parking is just in front of the apartment, making it easy to come home after a long day touring the countryside. Warm quilts, a fully equipped kitchen and lots of towels were a few of the amenities we really appreciated. Helga is also a lovely person and was very easy to coordinate with. I highly recommend this apartment and hope to be able to return here again next summer.

Lovely Place

Helga's place was beautifully put together with everything you could need. Nice and quiet in the evening. It is located in a nice community a short distance from downtown with easy access to the city bus system. If you are taking tours or getting bus connections to and from the airport, confirm if they will pick up and/or drop off at a private apartment. Helga was very helpful up front, ensuring easy access to the apartment when some of our party arrived very early in the morning. On my next visit to this beautiful country I will definitely try to stay here again.

Nothing to fault about our stay in Helga's apartment in August 2015. Great location, all conveniences were provided. Helga is an accomplished artist and several of her beautiful paintings grace the walls of the apartment!

Beyond Expectations!

Our group of 4 adults stayed in Helga's apartment over New Years. The apartment was spacious, immaculately clean and well equipped for travellers. The beds and bedding were fabulously comfortable. We had rented a car and had no difficulty finding the apartment with Helga's directions. It was a great location for driving to the country side or accessing downtown Reykjavik. It was also close to shopping and services.

Communicating with Helga was simple and she always responded promptly before our visit as well as while we were in Iceland. She was very gracious allowing us to arrive early. I would highly recommend Helga's apartment and hope to return again.
