Mazatlan Old City Gem

  • 5 of 5

This spacious, well maintained and beautifully furnished home was ours for one enjoyable month this winter (mid January to med February). We found the neighborhood delightful and safe; the location was perfect for walking throughout the city or for taking the green bus or a pulmonia. Weekly cleaning was meticulous and the Mazatlan4Rent office staff always responsive, professional and helpful.

We especially appreciated living with Mexican artifacts in every room, having meals in our little garden setting just off the kitchen--and taking in the ocean and malecon views from the rooftop level-- must be the city's best! One cautionary note: be prepared for walking up a short hill to the house and for steep steps throughout.

If you appreciate all that Mazatlan's old city offers-- from nearby restaurants, galleries, music, beaches and charm--you will find the house at 64 Pedregoso a very special place. We liked it so much we plan to rent it again next year.

Beautiful home in a great location!!

This property was everything we had hoped for. Unfortunately we didn't realize carnivale was happening when we were in Mazatlan. We will be more aware of this next time we visit.

Awesome experience

Very roomy, comfortable and clean place to stay. Convenient to shopping, eating and water fun. Beautiful view of old Mazatlan and the ocean. We were picked up and returned to the airport. We will re-book every year!

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious and clean

  • 3 of 5

The house and the naighborhood were fantastic! We loved the house decor and the comfort of it. We got there on the fist day of Canaval, so the noise was horrendous for five days. The whole family enjoyed visiting family and the old and Nuevo Mazatlan. The people were very friendly, the food was delicious. We will like to rent this house again, but in another time of year.

Fantastic Ocean and Malecon View

  • 3 of 5

The views are spectacular! It was so wonderful to sit on the roof top terrace and look down on the water and the malecon. And the location of the house is excellent; one block from the Shrimp Bucket and a short walk to the Plaza Machado and the Mercado.

The house is roomy and clean. Wifi and Canadian (Shaw) satellite are very reliable. The property managers are very professional and responsive to any inquiries and requests or concerns. They were totally top notch.

We wished there was an umbrella on the roof top terrace, and more lounge chairs (the house accommodates a large group but there were only 2 lounge chairs), and we would have liked a beach umbrella and beach chairs so we could go sit at the water on the Malecon. The bathroom in the rooftop bedroom is a bit awkwardly laid out, and there is no closet in that bedroom. But it is amazing to walk out of your room and be on the rooftop. Be prepared to walk up hills to the house, and up and down stairs throughout the house.

We love Mazatlan and intend to live there one day. This home is right in the very best neighbourhood and all in all, it was a great experience for us.
