Picturesque beach apartment. Just 100 feet from the beach. Penthouse with an incredible terrace overlooking the ocean and the El Yunque rain forest. Private parking with access to the beach. King bed on master room and bunk beds on second room. Air conditioned rooms, WiFi, LED TV with cable ,ROKU and telephone. Two equipped bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer. Walking distance to town. Located 30 minutes east from the airport on PR3 highway.

Luquillo has 3 golf courses within a 5 mile radius, 3 major hotels and is close to commercial centers where the guest can find convenience stores, supermarkets and major brand Outlet stores.

The Luquillo Kiosks offer local food and fresh sea food as well as cold beer and drinks. Nearby The Brass Cactus restaurant has excellent hamburgers and specialty drinks.

If the guest is a nature lover, a 15 minute drive west will bring you to the heart of El Yunque National Forest. you will find water falls, nature trails and birds in a protected reserve. Drive another 10 minutes west and you find horse-riding, a go-kart track and many other local small restaurants to cater your wishes, be it Mexican, Japanese, Puertorican, Peruvian, Argentinian, etc.

A short 30 minute drive east brings you to Fajardo where the guest can take a ferry to Vieques or Culebra islands for a day tour. Culebra has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world at Flamenco. While in the Fajardo area a visit to el Conquistador Hotel is a plus. Great views, ferry to the private beach island of Palominito and several first class restaurants will welcome you. Tours to the Bioluminescent Bay can be reserved for a night visit, at Las Croabas, very close to El Conquistador Hotel.

Those who want a higher purchasing extravaganza can drive to San Juan and visit Plaza Las Americas, the Caribbean's largest retail center wich is located just 27 miles west from Luquillo. Also in San Juan a visit to the Old San Juan island is mandatory. There you will find a city with an old world heritage dating back to the 1500's when Spain occupied the island of Puerto Rico. Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Fort San Cristobal are two excellent representatives of that period. The Governor's Mansion, La Fortaleza is another great example of Spanish construction. A visit to Barrachina to sip a cool Piña Colada is a must. The guest can spend a full day in Old San Juan.

Excellent location on the North east corridor in Puerto Rico. Right at the beach and close to rainforest and restaurants. Great Penthouse terrace with all the amenities for BBQ or leisure reading.

Luquillo is the capital of the sun and the beach. Thirty minute drive to San Juan and the airport on PR3, PR66 and PR26 highways.

Outstanding Ownership!

We just returned from a wonderful week at this property. Everything was as we had hoped. Quiet, clean, comfortable, great beach access, great penthouse patio and balconies, plenty of dining options, etc. I also can't say enough nice things about Rafael (owner) and Berto (property manager). Their personal attention was outstanding. When we arrived at the airport, the rental car agency had run out of rental cars and after some delay, sent us by taxi to the property. Despite the late hour (nearly midnight), Berto was waiting for us when we arrived to give us our orientation tour of the property. The next morning, when we still didn't have a car or any transportation, Berto took us in his car to a local bakery, and offered to come back and take us to the grocery store once it opened later that morning. When I continued to have difficulty finding a rental car through my original car rental agency (busy holiday weekend), I contacted Rafael (the owner) for advice on finding a local agency in the Luquillo area. Within 1 hour, he and his wife had dropped what they were doing, drove from their home in San Juan, picked me up, and took me to a local agency, after he first called several agencies himself, and located what was certainly the last rental car available on the northeast part of the island. They saved me hours of frustration with their kindness. Later, when we discovered that the espresso machine wasn't working, Rafael delivered a new machine within hours, along with a bag of his favorite Puerto Rican coffee. I've rented many properties, but have never been so well taken care of. Thank you Rafael and Berto!

Great place to stay

Best possible location in Puerto Rico. East to get to El Yunque, the Bio Bay, San Juan and more. Excellent dining was easy to reach and the beach was outstanding. The accommodations were perfect with great views from the penthouse.
