Why John or Pat Pierucki chose Centreville
We own 130 acres on the River and the Log home is in the middle of it all. Wildlife can be seen almost daily. We also operate an outdoor wedding venue on the property known as Riverside Receptions Etc. This home is a great place to stay if you are in the area for a wedding and reception or any of the many great festivals or fairs that take place each year.
What makes this House unique
The views from the windows and porches are great. It is so relaxing to just sit and enjoy what Mother Nature is saying. Inside you have the experience of staying in a true full log home. There are River views from almost every room in the house.

Staying for our wedding
Everything was perfect and the property was lovely! John was a great host.
Thank you so much, please let others know about our place. John and Pat
This cabin worked out nicely for our group of 4 in the area in business.
Thank you so much, perhaps again sometime. John and Pat
The process was simple and free of lines and that you see at hotels. The lodge was excellent in every way in an absolutely idyllic setting by the river! Surrounded by flowers that John waters every day ! Every thing that we needed was already there in the lodge and we could focus on our daughter’s wedding. John was always there to make sure things went perfectly! We have nothing but good things to say about this venue and lodge! Thank you John for making our special event worry free and beautiful!
Thank you so much, John and Pat
A Relaxing Weekend Away
My friends and I booked this cabin for a quiet weekend away. The property was beautifully maintained and came with everything we needed. We bought cooking/cleaning supplies since we didn't know what was provided and found we didn't need to use them since the cabin was already stocked.
John and Pat are great hosts and quick to answer any questions you may have.
The only issue I had was my own fault. I typed in the address into my GPS and it took me to the spot on Truckenmiller Road. It took me a few passes to realize the cabin is on the Riverside Receptions property and I need to drive up the driveway and across the bridge to reach the cabin.
While we were there, John let us know that a wedding was taking place. Had he not mentioned this, we would have not have known. The music and traffic noises never reached the cabin.
Thank you John and Pat for renting your cabin to us for a relaxing weekend!
Riverside Receptions Log Cabin
Cabin was beautiful inside and out. We booked this cabin the weekend of our honeymoon and having the additional space allowed our wedding day to transition over much easier. My wife and I stayed the night of the wedding. Having the cabin right on the property was very nice since we were both very tired after a long day.
