This Home is Awesome !
Cannot say enough great things about this Log Home on the river. It is so quiet and secluded. The Views of the River are spectacular. Saw all types of birds and deer everyday. It was very relaxing and comes with everything you need. Great food close by, and close to Kalamazoo.
Absolutely perfect for our needs!!
The setting for our log home stay was absolutely perfect! The home is beautifully furnished, modern, and very clean. The large deck on back overlooks the winding river. The large swing on the deck was so soothing while the patio table for six accommodated many of our meals outdoors. Building fires in the fire pit was an evening ritual while waiting for the stars to come out.
With our three families (our son’s family, our daughter’s family, and us) we each had private bedrooms and baths on “separate” floors. We were surprised at the beds (a full and a twin) on the lower level besides all the sofa area.
From the flowers on the front and back porch to the extended grounds of the winding river, bridges, and gorgeous wedding reception area with tons more flowers and waterfalls, it was an amazing setting to relax in privacy. If you want a secluded area and not be bothered by other people or the desire to sightsee, then this log home would be a perfect choice. There are only a few places where I quickly say, “I would return”, and this is definitely one of those. And all of our children agree!
Thank you so much for the review, hope to see you again soon ! John and Pat
The most peaceful place in Michigan!!
If you want a cozy, super clean and amazing place this is where you should go.
Quiet & Beautiful Get-A-Way
We had 3 couples needing a secluded, quiet get-a-way! That is exactly what we got. This cabin was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Lots of sightseeing attractions nearby. The back deck overlooking the river was where we spent most of our time. It was relaxing and quiet with just the rippling of the small, lazy river. The overall grounds were a beautiful backdrop for an outside wedding/celebration. Tons of amazing flowers grown onsight and incredible waterfall photo ops. This cabin and grounds are a beautiful diamond that shines brightly. We will definitely be back. Thank you John and Pat for allowing us to be part of your little paradise if only for a few days! You made us feel welcome! Cindy Kennedy, Middletown, IN
Thank you, So much, We will be happy to host you again.
We had a wonderful stay at the log home. Spacious, quiet, and clean. Excellent location along the river that was easy to get to. Very quiet and secluded for a nice relaxing time. John and Pat were perfect hosts. Couldn't have asked for more! We would go back in a heartbeat!
We were very pleased you you as well, perhaps one day we can use your place in Colorado.
Book it! You won't be sorry!!
My family and I stayed in this amazing cabin for an entire week. The setting is peaceful, with plenty of activities around you. We weren't looking for anything but family time. It was a wonderful get away. The cabin was clean and it had everything we needed. The hospitality of the owners was genuine, and welcoming. We will be looking forward to coming back to this beautiful cabin next year.
