Our famlily of 4, including 2 teenagers, spent a glorious week at the end of July in this wonderful cabin. The weather was a nice break from the the Texas heat and we all enjoyed the golf, scenery, wildlife and drives to nearby areas. We're already planning return trips during different seasons so we can experience this wonderful place at all times of the year.
Great cabin, well laid out with almost everything you'd need. The place itself is peaceful and beautiful even "off season." Owner was polite and gave excellent directions. I would definitely recommend to others!!
Very comfortable cabin located in a beautiful area of the Pecos with easy access to golf and hiking. Has all the amenities included. Very helpful owner who accommodated are departure time
Our second time at this home and third annual golf weekend. Great place next to the golf course and overlooking a pond. Always enjoy staying here. Very comfortable and plenty of room with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open floor plan. Nice deck off dinning area with grill makes for a fun cook-out, of which we did one night. Customer service is very good also. Got a call a couple days before to make sure we were good to go and if we needed any additional accommodations. We'll be back again next year for our annual Pendarieculous golf weekend.
Listing description was accurate regarding location and layout. Beautiful surroundings, nice TV sets, good communication, excellent dish washer, glass wear. Knives are dull, utensils are not bad.The house needs a VERY professional cleaning (from the top to the bottom including walls). It is in general dirty and shabby. Many unnecessary things, draws are full of junk. Closets are filthy, towels and bed linen are very old. The same with the furniture. If you have allergies, it is not the place to spend your vacation. Smell of mold and something unpleasant. If you are not a golf player or you do not fish, choose any other place. No activities except walking around. the owner was cooperative and helpful. However my family will not return to this particular house. It must be thoroughly cleaned and better maintained.
I don't ever write reviews, much less bad ones, but the nauseating smell of black mold and dander is so thick and nasty in the bedrooms, bathroom and closets on the lower floor of this place that it isn't fit for homeless squatters, let alone paying customers. You can see the black mold on the roof beams and crevices in places. Whoever's making passive income exposing people to that (they know who they are) is beyond shameless. The place oughta be demolished, no joke. On the plus side it'd be very hard for this damp heap to catch fire.
