Our open and airy living room is the perfect place to play games, catch up with family and remember the days events of your vacation.

Our vacation rental is the top floor of a large two story house, each is a completely separate unit. This vacation rental is on the upper 2nd floor. There is some noise from traffic on the main 2 lane road, Kamehameha Hwy which circles the island.

They are almost complete on building a new house next door. With just the dry wall inside work to be completed.

We offer affordable accommodations for a traveling family.

A fully equipped kitchen includes: blender, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, microwave, pots, pans, oven, frig, dish washer, and ice cooker and a outdoor gas BBQ. A washer and dryer is provided in a fully closed in area at the back of the house outside.

Our neighborhood has little foot traffic and is safe/secure.

We have a legally permitted unit so there is no need to worry if the current enforcement of unlawfully operating units will affect you or your vacation. The unit is approximately 1,000 square feet plus a lanai.

The master bedroom has a king bed and bathroom with huge bathtub/shower.

One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds.

Each bedroom has a 32 inch flat screen TV with cable.

Tastefully decorated with the comforts of home.

We are located between Sunset Beach and the historic town of Haleiwa, surrounded by some of the world's most beautiful beaches. The award winning TV series LOST was filmed just down the road. Sea turtles and lots of exotic sea life are seen all along the coastline. Just a few of the nearby activities are: surfing, snorkeling, fishing, diving, kayaking, hiking, and shell hunting.

A short distance in either direction are world class golf courses, basketball courts, parks, tennis courts, cultural centers, sky diving, shark tours, sailing, horseback riding, great restaurants, unique shopping, and many more activities.

Reasonably priced and comfortable as home.

Everything a family could need to be comfortable. Easy walk to Waimea bay beach. Traffic a little loud, but not too bothersome. Great place, thanks Donna

Great for a family stay on the north shore!

  • 4 of 5

Overall, we were really happy with the property! There was lots of room and little extras that made our stay better. The fans were enough for us, but there is no air conditioning if that is important to you. At the time we stayed, there was very loud construction happening on either side of the house, so check with Donna to see if that is still happening. The first day of our stay it made things difficult, both in terms of talking to each other, relaxing, and kids napping (impossible). There is also a significant amount of road noise from the highway, but we found it almost like white noise after a while! The beds are comfortable and the place is very clean. There are lots of little thoughtful touches, which we really appreciated. Thanks for a great way to end our trip to Oahu!

Owner's Response: Aloha and thank you for your review. I hope the extra day for free helped with getting the little ones ready for their trip home. It is always a challenge to get little one to take that nap while out of their normal surroundings. Glad you all had such a great time here. We look forward to your return.

Nice, clean, and pest free home

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time in this nice home! We came with 4 adult children and a 9 month old baby. It was so wonderful to have meals out on the Lanai, and enjoy the view of the Ocean.

We have been to Hawaii several times and it was noticeably "pest free". You see geckos and cock roaches all over Hawaii, but it was really nice that they were NOT in the house! PLUS talk about convenient laundry facility so we could keep the beach towels etc clean!! That was a big plus!!

Donna made sure the house was ready for Hurricane Madeline that was predicted to come by. She was a truly wonderful host!

The only SMALL down sides were the sound of Kamamaya highway, and having to drive 2 minutes to get to the beach instead of walk. But hey! We had a great time and didn't pay a fortune to enjoy Hawaii with our family! If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.

We are definitely going to book our next stay there again! It was so relaxing and nice.

Quaint home near the sea

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in the North Shore at this wonderful home enhanced our trip to the Hawaiian islands. The home (we stayed in the upstairs apartment with a separate entrance) was very well kept, clean, and definitely made us feel like we were in Hawaii! Donna is great, she gave good advice and helped us make the most of our time in Oahu. We Wpuld love to come back and stay for much longer. Thanks, Donna!

Great place for a nice tropical sojourn.

  • 5 of 5

Impeccably clean, pleasant quarters. Exactly as advertised. Pleasant landlady. Well furnished – both furniture and implements; good supplies of consumables. Two smaller bedrooms rather short on storage space. Nice, breezy verandah. Short drive to beaches, Waimea Valley, grocery store. Convenient to pleasant old town of Hale`iwa. Mahalo, Donna.
