|Minimum Stay||1 - 3 nights|
You will have two spacious bedrooms with Queen beds, one bathroom with hot shower water, full kitchen, living room with cable TV with premium channels and a spacious and comfortable porch looking into the garden.
The house is only a 3 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk to the beach and the area is peaceful. Our premises are very secure and the neighbourhood is mostly quiet.
Clothes iron and Wi-Fi are included with the rental.
Laundry can be done for $10 per load.
An extra twin bed can be rented for $10 per night.
There is Wi-Fi and Cable tv for your entertainment. Also have dominoes and cards that you can borrow. There are bars, sports bars, restaurants, clubs and the expansive Caribbean Sea for you to enjoy yourself. There's snorkeling, rafting, horseback riding, off-roading, ziplining, hiking, bird watching, swimming, hunting, boating, para-sailing and so much more to do!
The house is 1.5 hours from Negril and Ocho Rios which means you can explore a third of the island with the home as your base. The main highway passes by the community (no traffic noise at the house). You can get to Ocho Rios and Negril for only $18 each by coach bus (like Greyhound). If you want to go private, you can charter a taxi and tour guide for $120 round-trip.
If you want to go out for lunch or dinner, I recommend one of these restaurants that are located nearby:
Chill Out Hut - Jamaican and international cuisine and seafood. Try their Chicken Alfredo!
Lilliput Jerk Centre (featured in Food and Wine Magazine) - Jerk (Barbecue) pork, chicken and seafood.
Border -Seafood (conch, fish, shrimp, lobster, octupus). The lobster is to die for!
Burger King and KFC are only a few minutes away by car.
Taxis are always available 24 hours a day so if you do not get a rental car you will have access to transportation.
You've got to come experience Jamaica with us 'cause "Once You Go, You Know"!!
I was born and raised right here in beautiful Montego Bay. The only times I have been away from this city is when I was at university in Kingston (Jamaica's capital) and the times I visited the USA. I love it here because it is not very busy and it is very beautiful. I would want to live nowhere else but Jamaica.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 1996
Being so close to the beach is something that a lot of people don't get to experience often. Just to slip on your sandals and trek down to the beach and have a fun day in the sun then walk back home is something I hope everyone will appreciate. This community is pretty much a family, everyone knows everyone and people are friendly and always willing to help. The house is not the most modern or sophisticated but it is clean, has everything you need to live comfortably and is priced so that you can spend your money exploring the island.
Everything was great! Sherika was very helpful with answering my many questions prior to booking and arrival. Listing and information provided couldn't be more accurate. It was exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking to experience in Jamaica, with the budget we had. I would recommended this to anyone that desires to stay off the beaten path and experience Jamaica outside of the expensive resorts. The neighborhood seemed safe, and transportation was not an issue, considering we did not rent a car. Taxi's were easy to come by and Sherika's arrangements for transportation from the airport worked out perfectly. All in all great trip and accommodation's.
I had a very pleasant experience at Sherika's place in Montego Bay. It was clean and I had all I needed to make me feel comfortable. I asked her about the hot water problem before I arrived and she assured me it was fixed. It sure was even though I barely used it because Jamaica is so hot already. Kenroy took me to the river and a tour of Negril which was one of the best trips I had for my whole stay so kudos to Kenroy! It was a great, real life experience and I would recommend this apartment on the hill to everyone.
The house was great but there was couple of things that should had been place in the house also things that should had been mentioned before I paid. I wasn't told that the house didn't have any hot water. The owner told me she was getting it fix and was waiting for part to get it fixed. Which wasn't explain to me until after I took a shower and email her about not having hot water. To be honest I would had never stayed there if there wasn't any hot water. Also there wasn't basic things supply such as trash bags and I had to ask for toilet tissue and how to lite the stove and gas for the stove. Basically the house wasn't prepared when I arrived. I recommend that you walk to the main road to catch a taxi in town ...way more cheaper and just get a driver to bring you back. Better yet it mat be smarter to rent a car. This house is a bit far away from town I say 20 mins away.
Nice place, great people, fun times! The house had everything we wanted and was especially clean. What more can I say I enjoyed my time and I most certainly will be back. Jamaica is the best.
