Spectacular views, a private beach and a great location make a stay at Villa Luna Creciente a memorable vacation. Though its set on a hillside overlooking the ocean and the Los Arcos rock formations, the luxe property is a sight in its own right, taking inspiration from Mediterranean style. Six bedrooms divided between the main house and a casita and a staff ensure privacy and comfort during your stay.
The back of the villa opens to a stone terrace with a sitting area, a row of chaise lounges for sunbathing and a heated infinity pool, all perched above the ocean. Follow the steps down to another terrace and lounge area and the man-made beach. A dining area, wet bar and barbecue round out the outdoor living areas. Inside, the property has satellite TV and Wi-Fi, as well as laundry facilities, ceiling fans and air conditioning for convenience and comfort. Your stay at Villa Luna Creciente includes private chef service for two meals each day, housekeeping and a houseman.
Though the villas stately columns, polished marble floors and sweeping staircase could be imposing, tropical accents like turquoise sofas and striped pillows keep it feeling relaxed. In the open living and dining rooms, huge arched doors fold back to connect the indoor living spaces seamlessly to the outdoor areas, making the rooms feel like a loggia. The fully equipped kitchen has the same Mediterranean charm, with a tiled backsplash, stone countertops and a practical island layout.
There are five bedrooms in the main house at Villa Luna Creciente and one in a casita; all six bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. In the main house, the two bedrooms on the lower level have king beds, access to a shared terrace and ocean views. Upstairs, the master suite has a king bed, access to a Juliet balcony and terrace and ocean views, a second bedroom has a queen bed, access to two Juliet balconies and ocean views, and the third bedroom has a queen bed and access to two Juliet balconies. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Puerto Vallarta Puerto Vallarta lies along Banderas Bay, the second largest bay in the Western Hemisphere. It is located 352 kilometers (219 miles) from Guadalajara, the state capital of Jalisco, and it is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range. The region has many forests, rivers and waterfalls, with an average temperature of 27C (80F). Of its many attractions Playa Mismaloya, which gained fame from the film "The Night of the Iguana", is a popular celebrity hangout. The impressive rock formations of Los Arcos emerge from the bay's crystalline waters, which are great for diving and discovering incredible underwater mountains and steeps. The city hall has murals painted by Manuel Lepe, and the Malecon (sea wall) is adorned with romantic bronze sculptures. Whats more, the streets of downtown offer shops and galleries that sell local paintings and sculptures of local artists. The city, known for its top-notch services, also has golf courses, boutiques and a marina. In Puerto Vallarta you can enjoy the exquisite regional cuisine of Jalisco, that so many people have come to love, and the terraces of open-air restaurants, where you can watch cruise ships roll in as you take in an incredible sunset. Sport fishing is just one of many activities you can do during your stay in Puerto Vallarta. Each year, during the month of November, the International Sailfish Fishing Tournament takes place. Other activities available in this region are eco-tourism, extreme sports, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boating, golfing and nightlife.

The months leading up to our arrival were looked upon with great anticipation and excitement. We looked at the online photos over and over again, the kids had their rooms picked out, ideas of what the "private beach" would be like were formed and we wondered..."would our cook be as great as the one we fondly remembered of years past named, Marta! The answer hands down was a resounding YES! The villa was exactly as the photos presented it to be...BEAUTIFUL. The beach far surpassed our dreams of being an "oasis" where good books were read, plans for the future were made and a glass of wine was enjoyed. The cook filled and exceeded our expectations, made our bellies full and our clothes fit a little tighter. We have traveled years past, have stayed in many "luxury villas" and this was by far our favorite place. The house had enough room to "get away" when one needed their space with several different places to go, from the rooftop to the private beach, this Villa had it all.
