About this property

Lake House with my professional photography skills helping shoot the eclipse

This listing is really for lending my professional photographic skills in photographing the eclipse on the 8th of April. I've been a highly successful professional commercial photographer my entire adult life. If you like I'll gladly join you and yours guests. Helping you.

The 7 acre property with hardwood forest also offers you natural slate deck the sound of the waves, the beautiful sunsets. Not another sound allowed except for the birds, and ruffling leaves. Not a person to be seen. Very, very private.
But the property is not conducive to children and rambunctious teens playing by themselves in the forest or by the very steep falloff to the lake.
Not a sleigh ride, but a fall. Seventy feet or so.

9 miles away from Barcelona Beach, 10 miles to Chadwick Bay to charter a professional fishing boat—an abundance of fresh water fish, 10 miles to Westfield to do some antiquing. And last, but not least 17 miles to the world famous Chautauqua Institute. A step back to the late 19th century. The amazing Athenaeum hotel the and ginger bread houses. And lectures from very famous people even presidents—Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, and Bill Clinton. Plus some very much alive important people, eg.

About the host

Hosted by Paul Souter

Host profile image
I've been a commercial photographer and filmmaker for the better part of my adult life. Retired about ten years ago to use my imagination and photo skills to forgo the commercial work and express myself doing Fine Art photos.
I like the idea of being a host because I seldom use my lake house—want my guests to enjoy it as well as I have.

Why they chose this property

Neighbors? Very few. One across the street with thousands of acres of vineyard. The area of Dunkirk, Fredonia, Westfield, all the way to the Pennsylvania border. Home of Welch's and an abundance of Wineries.

What makes this property unique

The year around house is built on seven and half acres with five hundred feet of lake frontage. And very very private.
