Wonderful location for a peaceful piece of rural Hawkes Bay in a classic NZ cottage -- the native birds in the mature garden are fabulous.
WOW. Fortunate to stay at Moananui for the weekend and it was magical. Great place to get away from it all. Highly recommend the trip to the beach for the cliff walk. Will be back for sure ! Thanks to Hamish and the rest of the Mclean Family, including the two wee foxy dogs ! Loved the all day fire and the deep bath !
The cottage was warm and cozy when we arrived. With everything that we needed was there, with plenty of room/beds for us
Loved the views and wildlife, with a beach and walks on hand for us to get a do.
Great location for getting away from it all. We were totally chilled within hours of moving in. Loved the songbirds and friendly escorts (on our walks) Patch & Toby! Easy drive to Whangaehu Beach. Views to die for!!
Cute cottage in a beautiful location with stunning views. Lovely place for some peace and quiet. Awesome place to go to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Not far from a lovely beach.
wonderful location, lovely garden with lots of natives and fruit trees, tui and kereru, about 10 min drive from a nice little sandy beach. the walk along the cliffs was great, but a bit challenging with the high grass and thistles. the nearest shops are quite far away, so we brought all our food with us - great that the fridge was big enough to hold it all :-) the cottage was comfy with carpet throughout, but smelt a bit musty. we stayed for a week and had a good rest.
