About Jim and Jane Campbell

We are Jim and Jane Campbell and we have two grown sons. The cabin is located on our farm which is a working farm with Angus cattle. We enjoy being hospitable and will make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Jim and Jane Campbell purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Jim and Jane Campbell chose Blue Ridge

We decided to build a log cabin on our property because our view is so wonderful and we wanted to be able to share it.

What makes this cabin unique

We are 1/2 mile off Rt. 460 and close to many restuarants, places to shop, the Peaks of Otter, and Smith Mountain Lake. We have a pond very close to the cabin and there are many places to hike and bike.

We love it here on the farm, because the views off the front porch and the many wildlife you see, put us in awe of our Lord Jesus Christ the creator of it all!

Cozy and beautiful cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

I had a wonderful time at the cabin! The set up is great with everything in an open space. The kitchen is very clean and has new appliances. The bed was comfortable which faced the television and fake fireplace (that did give off heat) so you can watch movies in bed. Even the chairs infront of the television reclined, which was a nice surprise. The hot tub was wonderful, especially during the winter time! They had robes, towels and other amenities set for us. We really felt comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful cabin! Would definitely go back again! Highly recommend this place!

Words are inadequate!

  • 5 of 5

This was trip number 6 or 7 for us (I am losing count) and it is never a disappointment. This is just what I love in a weekend away. Comfortable, cozy, clean and everything we need. Jim and Jane are such nice people. You can't go wrong with this little piece of heaven!

Love coming to this cabin

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time my wife and I have rented this cabin. We love the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful views. The cabin is wonderful and comfortable. The hot tub is relaxing and the whole experience was one of the best we have had as a couple. We hope to return next year.

Perfect!

This quaint little cabin was the perfect spot to escape and reconnect with each other. Jim and Jane are wonderful hosts and have thought of everything. We felt relaxed and at home as soon as we entered the property. We are looking forward to making this a regular retreat! Thank you!

Perfect cabin for romantic weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a romantic weekend away from DC and it was perfect! The cabin was secluded, cozy, and had everything we needed. All of the appliances and furnishings seem brand new or very well kept. The hot tub was just what we needed to relax after our hike at the Peaks of Otter. We even met Jim shortly after we checked in when he came by to replenish some of the firewood, which was incredibly kind, but were otherwise left undisturbed by the hosts for our stay. Would love to come back again.
