About Jim and Jane Campbell

We are Jim and Jane Campbell and we have two grown sons. The cabin is located on our farm which is a working farm with Angus cattle. We enjoy being hospitable and will make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Jim and Jane Campbell purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Jim and Jane Campbell chose Virginia

We decided to build a log cabin on our property because our view is so wonderful and we wanted to be able to share it.

What makes this cabin unique

We are 1/2 mile off Rt. 460 and close to many restuarants, places to shop, the Peaks of Otter, and Smith Mountain Lake. We have a pond very close to the cabin and there are many places to hike and bike.

We love it here on the farm, because the views off the front porch and the many wildlife you see, put us in awe of our Lord Jesus Christ the creator of it all!

Cozy and beautiful cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

I had a wonderful time at the cabin! The set up is great with everything in an open space. The kitchen is very clean and has new appliances. The bed was comfortable which faced the television and fake fireplace (that did give off heat) so you can watch movies in bed. Even the chairs infront of the television reclined, which was a nice surprise. The hot tub was wonderful, especially during the winter time! They had robes, towels and other amenities set for us. We really felt comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful cabin! Would definitely go back again! Highly recommend this place!

perfect hideaway

  • 5 of 5

This place is the most perfect place if you want to be away from everyone. So quiet, peaceful, serine. Everything you needed to stay there but without food, so bring your own. Otherwise you have to leave & go into town to either Bedford or Roanoke. The bed was more comfortable than our own. I wish I had looked what the bed was. We have traveled to the Mid-west & have stayed in only 2 nice cabins. On the East coast this is the best place to stay! It is so beautiful inside & out. You will not want to go home. The view of the mountains were just heaven. So clean & comfortable. Everything in order. What more can I say but hoping we will be able to go back! Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Campbell for sharing this beautiful cabin with us. It was one of the most enjoyable places we have stayed.

Great Get Away!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the cabin for 3 nights and it was wonderful! The cabin was clean, and stocked very well. The porch was great! We fished, but didn't catch anything. We had a fire outside every night watching deer, rabbits and ground hogs! We ended each night in the hot tub looking at the stars! This was exactly what we were looking for! I will be coming back. Thanks Jim and Jane for sharing your beautiful place with us.

PERFECT

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I have not been away alone together in 4 years and this was the perfect way to celebrate our 13th anniversary and reflect on Gods plan for our lives. The cabin was perfect, exceptionally clean well equipped and beautifully decorated. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, we went into Bedford and hiked the Peaks of Otter and then to Roanoke to eat at my wife's favorite restaurant. Jim and Jane were great and we look forward to coming back. This place will not disappoint.
