About Jim and Jane Campbell

We are Jim and Jane Campbell and we have two grown sons. The cabin is located on our farm which is a working farm with Angus cattle. We enjoy being hospitable and will make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Jim and Jane Campbell purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Jim and Jane Campbell chose Virginia

We decided to build a log cabin on our property because our view is so wonderful and we wanted to be able to share it.

What makes this cabin unique

We are 1/2 mile off Rt. 460 and close to many restuarants, places to shop, the Peaks of Otter, and Smith Mountain Lake. We have a pond very close to the cabin and there are many places to hike and bike.

We love it here on the farm, because the views off the front porch and the many wildlife you see, put us in awe of our Lord Jesus Christ the creator of it all!

Map

We are 25 minutes from Roanoke and 45 minutes from Lynchburg. Smith Mountain Lake is about 25 minutes from us and there is boating, fishing and you can take a ride on the Virginia Dare.

We are close (35 minutes) from the James River and you can go canoeing and kayaking there.

Cozy and beautiful cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

I had a wonderful time at the cabin! The set up is great with everything in an open space. The kitchen is very clean and has new appliances. The bed was comfortable which faced the television and fake fireplace (that did give off heat) so you can watch movies in bed. Even the chairs infront of the television reclined, which was a nice surprise. The hot tub was wonderful, especially during the winter time! They had robes, towels and other amenities set for us. We really felt comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful cabin! Would definitely go back again! Highly recommend this place!

Awesome Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was my 2nd time staying at your cabin. So peaceful and very well maintained. I so enjoyed each evening in the Hot Tub. Much relaxation there! All that was provided was wonderful. Very cozy. I have let several friends know of this little slice of heaven. I am sure to return! Thanks again!

Perfect space for quite quality time! Beautiful surroundings, well kept adorable cabin.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for some predeployment quality time and this little cabin is perfect! I loved the surroundings and seeing the cattle :) We found some awesome restaurants and looked at the D day memorial, a beautiful and moving site to see. The cabin was extremely well kept and equipped with all the daily essentials. We highly recommend this cabin and would love to return.

Great weekend!!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was excellent! We had looked at a few other cabins in the area but chose to spend the little extra money for the hot tub. Totally worth it! Completely private and beatiful surroundings. The cabin was clean and homely and they did not skimp on anything for being a rental. Loved having the robes for the hot tub! Definitely would go back. Thank you!!🐝
