The Space

This lovely ranch is over 1500 sq/ft, has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Our home is on a quiet court in a beautiful, established neighborhood in Louisville, just minutes from all your Derby destinations (approximately 10 miles from Louisville International Airport and Churchill Downs, 9 miles to 4th Street Live and 6 miles to the Highlands Neighborhood)! In addition, you will be very close to local eateries and shopping in St. Matthews! Although the home accommodates all types of groups, it is especially family-friendly if you are traveling with children!

Accommodations are as follows:

Dining Room with seating for 8, eat-in kitchen with seating for 4. Bedroom 1- queen bed, opens to the hallway where bedroom 2 is located adjacent to the first bathroom. Bedroom 2-twin bed, opens into hallway and adjoins bedroom 3. Bedroom 3- does not have it's own closet, but there is a large closet in the adjoining bedroom with plenty of space as well as a large hallway closet, drawer space is provided in each room as well, queen bed, opens into formal living room with ample seating and 36" flat screen TV. Bathroom 2 adjoins the living room, has a shower stall as well as washer/dryer and backyard access.

There is also a large driveway, outdoor eating area, and a third of an acre yard with beautiful trees and swings!

The Neighborhood

Safe and quiet, on a small court. Directly around the corner from I-264 and I-64. Great for walking/running. Greathouse Elementary playground is a quick walk away. Brown Park and Des Pres Park as well as Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Kroger are less than two miles away.

Derby weekend

The home was perfect for my husband and our in laws to stay over derby weekend. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were prompt in answering any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again

Kevin and Tessa were great to work with and prompt to return emails/calls. This home is in a quiet neighborhood, but very handy to attractions in Louisville. Shopping, Churchill Downs, and the downtown area are all within 10-15 minutes. Home was neat and clean, stocked with soap, towels etc. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. There were 5 adults for 4 days and our stay was very good. We thank the owners for their care and making sure our stay was pleasant. This property was just as we were expecting from the listing.
