We are a working professional couple form Vancouver living in St. John's and enjoying Newfoundland.
We travelled across Canada on a motorcycle with our third passenger, Pikachu, a 15 year old miniature Schnauzer.
Great property to share accommodations with your travelling companions; with outdoor entertaining space.
We stayed at 245 Topsail Road in St. John's and absolutely loved this home.
It was clean, organized, and beautifully decorated, which is wonderful.
Such a feeling of comfort at the end of the day after touring around St. John's.
However, the best part was it had everything you need for your stay.
The kitchen was so well equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable and cozy, the bathrooms had extra supplies in case you had forgot to bring something on your travels.
We would highly recommend staying here, it is one of the nicest places we have stayed, a home away from home!
House was beautifully decorated, bright, lots of room for relaxing in kitchen or living room and handy outside deck. Beds were luxurious and comfortable. Conveniently located close to downtown and near major road to day excursions outside of St. John's.
Check in was flexible and quick. Jackie even called us to let us know about rare Orca whale sightings during our stay.
The house made our first trip to Newfoundland even more enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you!
Myself and 2 friends shared this home for a week. This property is kept well-maintained by the owner and the home is absolutely beautiful and provides for a very comfortable stay. Its' location allowed us to easily visit many historic locations and local pubs and eateries. We were able to barbeque and relax on the back deck on down times or cook our meals in the well appointed kitchen area. Jackie met us when we arrived and reviewed the property with us, explaining things and answering all our questions. Also she left us her phone number to call if we had any other questions or concerns. She is an absolute gem! I would highly recommend this property to all my friends and when we plan our next reunion, we already know where we are going to stay.
This was our first stop on our trip to Newfoundland and it was a dream. The home is brand new, beautifully decorated and very conveniently located. Jackie and her husband were perfect hosts and answered any questions most promptly. Five stars for sure! Thanks so much for everything!
This was a wonderful home for our family of 5 to stay in to attend our sons convocation. Lots of space, convenient to downtown and to stores. Jackie met us upon our arrival and made us feel very welcome...complete with a basket of NL jams and chocolates! We have rented homes in Florida several times, and this house is comparable. High end appliances, linens and towels. Absolutely anything a family might need is found in this home right down to a sewing kit and first aid supplies. Jackie has obviously put a lot of thought into planning for this like-new home. It is immaculate and inviting. I would totally recommend this home!
Our stay was very enjoyable. There was lots of space for all our needs and beautifully decorated. The location was great, close to downtown. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. Next time we're visiting St John's we will definitely stay here.
