very clean and neat
Location can not be beat. Very clean well kept house. Comfortable beds . Very gracious and available property owners. Would be back.
Location is perfect and comfortable. We enjoyed it very much.
Great location and comfort was great.
The cottage was perfect! Clean, comfortable, convenient.
We stayed for a week to explore Mackinaw City and surrounding area. Can't imagine a more perfect place. We alternated day trips to Pictured Rocks and Sault st Marie with days walking the beaches and downtown Mackinaw City. Favorite was walking literally across the street to catch the ferry to Macinac Island! The cottage has everything imaginable - even though we didn't use many kitchen supplies, it was well stocked. Didn't watch tv but nice flatscreen, great wifi during our stay. The cottage was so clean and ample linens, comfortable furniture and although we only used it one night because we had closed windows for a road trip and when we returned the house was a little warm, the AC had us cooled back down quickly.
The ONLY thing we regretted not having was we forgot to bring our fold up chairs for sitting on the beach and lawn concerts. But that was our fault! Would highly recommend this cottage to couples or families. And the owners were extremely helpful with "local" advice and making sure we were comfortable!!
Can't Wait to Return!
Located near the Shepler ferry, across from Wawatam Park (and a half mile to Fort Michilimackinac with another several small parks on the Straits of Mackinac) this charming home is convenient and cozy! You can walk up to the Bakery just one block up, get to the outdoor concert area by foot, and reach other downtown attractions easily. I'm an author and was doing research, book signings, and library presentations in the area and in the U.P. and this little gem worked out perfectly for me!
House has everything you need. Stef is fantastic.
Great location and very nice place
We stayed here while visiting Mackinaw Island for much lower rates than the island. Stephanie and Bert met us on arrival and explained everything. Internet was good and cable tv was nice. Right across the street from Sheplers Ferry Dock and near the shops downtown. Bakery is close by and souvenir stores too.
Highly recommend. We would stay here again.
