Teton Valley Area House Rental Photos and Description

3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 8

Enjoy the quiet side of the Tetons in a beautiful and comfortable home with everything you need to have a wonderful vacation.

This newer home is well stocked and has all new furnishings. A large Master Bedroom with king size bed and beautifully tiled bathroom connects to the main Kitchen-Dining-Living Room. Play one of the many board games or select one of the many movies and watch it on the 48 inch flat screen. The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless steel appliances. There is another 32 inch flat screen in the Master bedroom. There is a Queen bedroom and a Bunk Bedroom with 4 beds down the hall with a laundry room and bathroom. The garage is 32 ft by 40 ft, big enough to hold multiple cars, where you can play ping pong and foosball. Enjoy sunsets or unwind on the large covered front and back porches. Our property backs up to the Rail-to-Trails bike path that goes 32 miles north to Ashton. 8 miles north is a beautiful trestle bridge over Bitch Creek. In Winter this this is a snowmobile trail that allows access to the scenic Pinochle-Jackpine Loop, a 35 mile loop from the house.

About Deanna Lewis

Deanna and Kevin Lewis lived in Austin, Texas for the past 20 years but have been spending as much time as possible at this vacation home in Teton Valley. They enjoy being able to share their home with others who, like us, love to explore the mountains. Just recently, Kevin and Deanna have moved from Austin to spend more time in Idaho and are in the process of relocating to Coeur d Alene, ID.

Deanna Lewis purchased this house in 2011

Why Deanna Lewis chose Teton Valley Area

Great location to nearby Yellowstone and Grand Targhee National Park. Quiet, peaceful home with wide open views of the mountains.

On the 'quiet' side of the Tetons, with nearby Driggs and Victor just minutes away. If you are looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is your kind of home. Set on 2 1/2 acres, there's lots of open space to enjoy.

What makes this house unique

The open, spacious kitchen is the center of this home. The high cedar planked ceilings and wood floors, along with ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, makes this home very welcoming. We fell in love with the craftsmanship displayed throughout the house.

Wonderful Time

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at or stay in this beautiful home. The house was nicely furnished and well kept, yet comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Our niece and nephew enjoyed the bikes and the trail in the backyard. The area was relaxing with beautiful views. Also the area had lots of nearby fun things to do, we went hot air ballooning, took the chair lift at Targhee, found a great local art store and a drugstore soda fountain. All around a great time.

A great place to stay.

The house is everything and more then you expect. The Lewis family has made sure you have every comfort of home. The views are breath taking the nights peaceful. The home itself was wonderful well kept and tidy. They have supplied all your needs for cooking, tv, movies even local phone service. My family enjoyed biking in the hills behind the house and visiting the local town, we even went river rafting. We are so happy we stayed at the property instead of at a hotel. It is located so that you can take day trips to the ski resorts, Yellowstone and Jackson Hole Wy. The Lewis family is so easy to work with thank you for giving us a vacation to remember; we will be coming back again next year.

Dream Retirement Home

  • 5 of 5

We fell in love with Tetonia and this lovely, well equipped, fully stocked, beautiful and welcoming home. Spacious and comfortable master suite, high quality linens, plenty of fluffy towels, ample walk in closet space, a separate soaking tub and beautiful walk in tiled shower, dual sinks in lovely master bath.

We cooked breakfasts and dinners in the well stocked kitchen with quality pots and pans, spices, and all the comforts of home. (Ample toilet paper, paper towels, hot water, among the many details we appreciated) We enjoyed evenings on the porches (not screened) and were not bothered by bugs or mosquitoes, just a gentle breeze and magnificent views.

Quiet remote neighborhood, the only neighbors we saw were the horses grazing in the fields outside our door. (no odors, very cleanly kept pastures)

The other two bedrooms that we did not use were nicely decorated, and the laundry room was also very clean and well equipped. The garage area was spotless and ample. We used the outdoor grill and outdoor furniture stored in the garage and everything was in top shape. No need for air conditioning, as we kept the front blinds pulled during the afternoon, and even with 90 degree + outdoor temperatures, the home was never over 73 degrees. It was easy to cool the home at night by opening a few windows because of the nightly breezes.

The owners were thorough and available for all our questions prior to our arrival. A book containing area attractions and house instructions was available upon arrival. Good WiFi speed (as we were tethered to work). We stayed busy visiting area attractions, not only the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, but also Mesa Falls, Cave Falls, the Teton Dam disaster site, Jackson, Atomic City, Craters of the Moon, and swung by Rexburg to take photos of the magnificent five story LDS Temple at sunset. We also enjoyed the local grocery store and the restaurants in Driggs.

Would HIGHLY recommend this home to friends, family, and anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in Tetonia/Driggs area.

Wonderful vacation rental!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at this home. It was extremely clean and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen & laundry room, a great layout for our 5 kids and us, and it had more than advertised - we loved little extras we found! The owners were very good communicators. It was well worth the drive time to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Excellent grocery store in Driggs. We enjoyed our day we stayed in town. We loved using the bikes, ping-poing, foosball, TV/DVD, kitchen, fire pit. There were more than enough towels. Things were labelled/described clearly. An excellent Yellowstone/Grand Teton book provided helped us plan our outings. We can't wait to come back here again sometime!
