The unit has been completely renovated in the summer of 2011 by Maui's top interior designer and contractor creating a very upscale, Hawaiian interior design. The fully equipped kitchen has custom cherry cabinets, top quality granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The bathrooms are newly tiled and finished with the same cabinets and granite to provide continuity throughout. We want you to leave the mainland behind when you step in the front door.

This stunning relaxed island-style 2-bedroom, 2-bath luxury condominium features an open floor plan, 1800 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space with air conditioning on two levels. This condo is larger because several optional areas have been enclosed. The condo sleeps 4 - 6. Enjoy relaxing, and drinks and dinner on the spacious lanai with a gas BBQ grill, wet bar, table with seating for 6, and two very comfy chaises.

Our condo, K-302, has the best sunset views because of its central location in the resort and because it occupies the top two floors of the 4-story building. You will enjoy the breathtaking westerly view of the ocean, golf course, Ka’anapali resorts, and the Islands of Molokai and Lanai from the spacious lanai and from the master suite. Up one flight of stairs, the entry takes you into the dining room, kitchen, guest bedroom suite, and laundry room with a new (in fall 2016) full-size washer and dryer. The sunken living room has a 55' LED LCT HDTV, a rocking chair, and a comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa. The dining room has a triangular dining table and seating for 6.

The enlarged upstairs master suite allows privacy from the rest of the unit. The room offers a vaulted ceiling, palm fan, King Serta plush mattress, and HDTV. The bathroom has a large soaker tub with a shower. This room is larger than most in the complex as the prior owners had expanded the size.

The first floor queen bedroom suite offers HDTV, a ceiling fan, and an attached bathroom with shower. There is a small office area in an alcove with secure Wi-FI and a printer for your laptop.

According to a Conte Nast poll, Ka’anapali Beach is # 1 beach on #1 rated Island. Ka’anapali Royal is a first-class resort with gated security and a convenient swimming pool, pool-side BBQ area, and lighted tennis courts. It sits on a ridge overlooking the 16th fairway of the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed Ka’anapali Royal Golf course where the PGA Senior Skins Tournament is played. Guests may choose from 10 other outstanding golf courses on the Island.

Enjoy a stroll to Whalers Village for shops, ocean-front dining, and exciting night life. They even have Sunday church services at Leilani’s on the Beach. We recently replaced all the windows and sliding doors with high efficiency, double-paned glass so our condo is cooler and quieter. We replaced the motors and blowers for the air conditioning to ensure your comfort. We also have a brand new gas grill on the lanai. We installed a larger washer and dryer. We are committed to keeping this condo in top condition following the extensive renovation in 2011.

Kay Kendall and I were married on the beach in Maui on May 21, 2012 at sunset. We are principles in a consulting practice named BaldrigeCoach.

Why The Owner chose Kaanapali

I have been coming to Hawaii 3 or 4 times a year for over 40 years using my timeshares on Maui and Kauai. When I decided to buy a condo, I looked on Kauai, Hawaii, and Maui. I preferred this area over South Maui because of the proximity to Ka'anapali Beach, Lahaina, and the tradewinds make it more comfortable year round.

I also looked at ocean front condos at other Ka’anapali Resorts. Most or those units were smaller, or the cost was three to five times higher. For me, it was a trade off. We are willing to walk to the beach to get more serenity and privacy as well as to be able to offer more affordable rates and value to our guests.

What makes this condo unique

Owning our condo allows us to have a full kitchen, wonderful views, and a place to keep my bicycle. It also gives us an office area to work in that I can share with you.

It is our second home and is large enough to host family and friends comfortably. For additional privacy we like our floor plan where the bedrooms are on separate floors.

We love whale watching, and you are 10 minutes from Lahaina which is great for shopping, dining, and whale watching cruises.

The west Maui mountains are the most beautiful on the Island and are great for sight seeing and hiking.

Complete top of the line remodel in July 2011 with great attention to detail in all areas of the condo. All new cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances in the fully furnished kitchen. All new upscale Hawaiian furniture, art, and furnishings. This two-story unit has the master bedroom suite with a top quality king bed located upstairs, so it affords the greatest privacy from the queen bedroom downstairs plus a sleeper sofa. in the living area. The enclosed area with over 1600 square feet is air conditioned plus 180 square feet lanai. This unit is almost twice the size of many other units in the Ka’anapali area. There are 17 stairs up and no elevator, but the payoff is great golf course, ocean and island views from the lanai and from the large upstairs master bedroom suite. There is an office area with Wi-Fi throughout -- even on the lanai! -- for your computer. First class resort amenities include a swimming pool, pool side BBQ area, and tennis courts .

Wonderful Vacation Home!

Absolutely wonderful vacation home in a beautiful location! Place was a short walk to the beach and Whaler's Village and had everything needed: parking, pool, lots of space, utilities etc. We couldn't have been happier with the place. It is in excellent condition and would recommend to anyone. Will definitely stay here again when traveling back to Maui!

Leisure and luxury!

We had a wonderful time in this very upscale condo. The size was large enough for 5 of us to not run into each other. All the amenities were delux and upscale. The owner Glenn was so nice and replied to me with all my questions prior to embarking on our trip.

Yes, everything is an easy walk as stated to beaches shopping and dining. We cooked most family meals at home which was wonderful as all appliances were there and as if they were new!

The famous Black rock beach was a favorite for all family members and was only a 15 minute walk away for all of us.

I'm still dreaming of this amazing peaceful, clean and gorgeous place! Would definitely stay here again and again!

Beautiful Kaanapali Condo!

Loved staying at this beautifully appointed condominium in a great location. Lovely property and quiet setting, overlooking the pool and golfing greens below, just up the hill from the Kaanapali hotels and Whaler's Village. This well maintained condominium has warmly decorated bedrooms, beautiful Hawaiian artwork, a spacious lanai for hanging out as well as barbequing, and all of the amenities for making your day at the beach fun (boogie boards, mats, chairs, umbrellas, etc.). Some of our favorite beaches included Kaanapali but also nearby Napili, Kahekili, and further up the road at Honolua Bay for the best snorkeling in Maui. Don't miss the Nakalele blowhole. It was a wonderful, delightful visit. I would definitely return and stay again. Thank you, Glenn and Kay!

Perfect Maui Condo...Upscale Luxury & Comfort for Six! We'll be back!!

We stayed in this beautiful condo for 7-nights and we loved everything about it!

Location in gated community is quiet and ultra safe with refreshing pool, hot tub and tennis courts that are lit for playing after sundown. The balcony and master bedroom views of the golf course and beach are postcard perfect in daylight and at sunset. It's beautifully furnished and decorated like a 5-star resort! The modern kitchen has everything we needed to make breakfast and we used the grill one night to eat-in. We were so pleased to find how spacious it was, even for six of us. The condo has many beach amenities that we used including beach umbrellas, a rolling cooler, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and grass mats...this was a great value to not have to buy or rent.

It's location was central for all of our island adventures, a favorite was Napili Beach for paddle board rentals and snorkeling with turtles. Even closer is the Black Rock Beach where we also saw turtles and sting rays. Kaanapali Beach is also very near for catching waves to surf or boogie board. As suggested by the owner, we ate at the Sea House Restaurant for their early bird special and loved the fresh fish and house salad! A local also suggested The Gazebo for breakfast and to get it as take-out to avoid the long wait...great omelets and macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup! It's a quick drive to Lahina for fun shopping, we loved the huge burgers at Cheeseburger in Paradise!

Having stayed in other condos and hotels on Maui we can tell you this one should be at the top of your list...book it if it's available and you'll be happy you did! We have already recommended this condo to others and we hope to return again soon!
