MAXIMUM SLEEPING CAPACITY IS DIFFICULT TO ACHIEVE AND IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED AGAINST LARGE GROUPS MADE UP OF MOSTLY ADULTS. As the number of adults increases the realistic functionality and comfort of this cabin significantly diminishes. It is recommended that groups with large numbers of adults look into combo options and add more units to their selection as the number of sleeping spots in this cabin alone is very high in proportion to the overall space and functionality of the cabin.

This ridgetop lodge is our largest cabin. It's locale is walking distance to other 1, 2, or 3 bedroom cabins so even larger groups can be accommodated. This cabin is among the finest rental units you will ever find when you combine the custom nature of the construction, the detailed level of appointment, and the ridgetop view locale of the cabin, which borders US Forest Service land and is directly accessible to a trail leading down to the Tsali mountain biking area.

The great room features a large wall of windows to enjoy the amazing view. There is also a towering stone fireplace (gas-logs) surrounded by leather sectional sofa. A game table for 4 provides additional dining space for larger groups. The main dining table is part of the kitchen and features 4 chairs plus bench seating on 2 sides to allow flexibility of how many can sit here. There are 2 dishwashers provided, so larger groups may appreciate this.

main floor - there is a queen bedroom on this floor that uses the shared bathroom
upper floor - there is a private bedroom with queen bed and queen futon that accesses a private balcony and also has a private bathroom. The other side of the upper level is an open loft area that also has a balcony but hosts a set of bunk beds (twin over full) and a queen futon. There is a tv and foosball table in the loft area and the living room can be seen over the railing as well as the beautiful view through the front windows.
lower level - the ground floor features an open rec area with shared bathroom, air hockey, tv, and a twin futon. There are also 2 bedrooms on this level: one has a queen bed plus a queen futon, the other has a queen bed plus a set of twin bunk beds. Both the bedrooms use the shared bathroom on this level.

**Please be advised that this cabin has bunk beds which are designed to accommodate guests of all ages. For this reason, the bunk beds do not include the typical safety rails which are included on children's bunk beds. If you plan to have young children use these beds, please contact our office at 888-604-3075 and follow the prompts for Customer Service or After Hours help if calling later than 5:00 pm. We will be happy to provide temporary rails for your child's safety.**

Google Maps Correction

Please note that the Google Map provide to us is not entirely accurate. The USFS road called "Horse Branch" (visible if you zoom in adequately) is a non-vehicular road so is excellent for hiking and biking, but does not allow motorized vehicles. The map shows it connecting to and terminating at Birch Rd, which is incorrect. Horse Branch Trail actually will lead you all the way down to highway 28N and terminates about 100 yards north of the entrance to the Tsali Recreation Area. Thus, you can mountain bike all the way to the Tsali trails directly from this cabin.

*If the number of people in your party exceeds the "Sleep in Beds" number for the cabin, there will be an additional charge of $10 per night for each person over the "Sleeps in Beds" number up to the "Max sleeping" number.*

Living rooms are smaller than expected based on the pictures. The deck space is amazing and the views are incredible! Overall, a great experience!
This was a great cabin with lots of room. There was enough space so a person could have some quiet time or visit time with family. The microwave was possessed and would start but not cook. Two dishwashers were a great plus. The view was stunning. The hot tub was wonderful but could have been about 10 degrees warmer. It would have been helpful to have coat hooks on the main floor. The main floor bathroom needs a shelf of some sort. There's no where to put toiletry items. Beds were very comfortable. There was a large rip in the rug in the living room. A new rug would be helpful. A visit to Bryson City is a must. Very sweet little town. Fun to shop in. Awesome place to get exercise by wandering the winding roads by the cabin.
