We rented the house for a girls trip. House was very nice and had everything we needed. The location is perfect and so convenient to Santa Monica and Malibu, which was where we went out to a few evenings. The trail to the mountains being directly behind the house was so nice-we took morning hikes and the views are amazing. The pool, backyard, and lounge areas in the home were great for a big group. The only thing I wish it had more of was outdoor loungers. They have a nice sitting area but need more loungers around the pool. The management was great to work with throughout the entire process-anything we needed while being there was immediately taken care of. Overall great place.
Our wedding venue is nearby so we stayed here with friends and family before and after the wedding. Everyone had a great time.
This house has the best view and location.
Interior is clean and well maintained.
Pool, hottub, BBQ, garden/backyard, and hiking trail kept everyone busy.
Plenty of parking spots.
And even an elevator!
Manager Valeria is the most professional property manager I have ever met. (And I have met quite a few due to wedding planning...) She responded my messages promptly, and resolved all the small issues we had diligently.
The windy uphill drive is a little difficult. But how else will you get this killer view?
Cell reception is spotty in the house. But there is wifi and a land line in the house.
There are some bees and bugs in the backyard/garden (because, you know, nature). Bring insect repellent if you tend to get bitten.
The real downside is that we can't stay there longer...but we'll be back! =)
This house has a little something for everyone. The pool, hot tub, in ground trampoline, and a hiking trail outside the front door kept everyone from the 2 year old to 77 year old busy. The furnishings were minimal and comfortable, and the bedrooms were generously sized. The kitchen is a bit dated but adequate for casual meals. I would highly recommend this property to demanding travelers.
Our large, extended family spent a delightful week in this beautiful home in July. The location and actual setting of the home is fantastic. The location provided easy access to stores, restaurants, and places to explore in LA. The house itself is architecturally imposing and beautifully landscaped. Our family was able to spread out and enjoy the many public spaces in the home. It is comfortable and well-equipped. We cooked many dinners and enjoyed them on the patio. Finally, all arrangements were easy to make and Valeria was waiting for us at the home when we arrived. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
This house was everything and more than what the write-up said. Some in our group haven't seen each other over 30 years and came from various parts of the county. It was a perfect setting where it is big enough to have a large group to spend time together and at the same time allow privacy. From the moment we got to the house, the manager (Valeria) was very helpful doing the walk-thru and providing information on things we need to know for a 3-day stay such as local restaurants, etc. The owners have thought thru all aspects of making the stay a positive experience. We just needed to show up. Views were phenomenal and the fact that the entrance to trail is next to the house made it easy for our group to take a hike. Access to city, beaches, grocery stores and restaurants was good as the house is right off Pacific Coast Highway and Sunset Blvd. It was worth the money we spent and look forward to renting again in the near future.
Our group loved staying at the house and we had an amazing time. Being right on one of LA's best hiking trails was a true treat. The views were incredible and it was a perfect location - tucked away and quiet but also easily accessible to all that LA has to offer.
