Excellent place to stay, we stayed there for 10 days nov7 - nov 17 2016
We spent 5 days in Treasure Island during the second week in October 2016. We found the surrounding property well maintained. There is a good view of the ocean from the deck. The apartment/condo looks like the photos. We did not have any maintenance issue. I did not give the property 5 stars for the following reasons: the master bed was extremely firm (hard) and my back was hurting throughout the stay and upon return home. I value a good night's sleep and I did not have one. The plumbing is loud - when someone above you flushes the toilet you hear it! Bedding and towel were of average quality. Cookware was worn and limited. I would not stay at this condo again because of the bed. The other issue are insignificant and usual given the price point for the condo. Also, this was our first visit to Treasure Island. It's quiet compared to St. Pete's Beach. We prefer the dining options and amenities of St. Pete's. P.S. We did not have a car on our visit. We Ubered to the grocery store, dinner, and Clearwater. You can walk to John's Pass.
Our first visit to Treasure Island and Sunset Vista and was not overly impressed. The unit was average and not well cleaned. The master bed spread had a stain on it that was missed by the cleaning crew. The dryer worked but was so clogged with lint, all your clothes came out covered with dust bunnies. There was one blanket, which was for the pullout sofa bed. The Tiki Bar was on the first level of the parking garage. Very small. No hotel night time entertainment like happy hour etc. One bright note, when I called to complain about needing a new bed spread, the property manager returned my call in 5 minutes. I would not stay here again.
We've come to Treasure Island and Sunset Vista many times over the years, most recently in February. Have always had a great time ("A bad day on vacation beats a great day at work."). Itrip staff (Liz) was very helpful and very responsive to questions about check-in, deposit, presence of internet, 2017 costs, etc. Room was clean and highly accessible to the pool, the cafe and, of course, The Shake Shop. We also like that we can walk to John's Pass or into the heart of Treasure Island. Morning walks over the the Isle of Capri are a staple for us so that we can view and dream about the beautiful homes there. We've already booked at Sunset Vista for 2017!
This was our first time to Treasure Island and we fell in love with the area! We traveled with our two children ages 8 and 5 and the unit we stayed in was perfect. The children loved the pool and the beach was just beautiful. The unit was clean and had everything we needed especially in the kitchen (we cooked all meals). We will definitely come again!
This was our second year staying at Sunset Vistas through iTrip. Everything was as represented in the pictures and description. We did have a couple of issues (no linens for hide-a-bed and A/C quit working 2nd day), however Brandon with iTrip was there to resolve the problems within 15 minutes both times (one at 10:00 at night). We love the complex and amenities and will hopefully be back next year. Parking is challenging if you have more than one vehicle but Security is good about helping find a spot. The location is convenient to everything and if you don't have a car you can catch the trolley or a cab out front. This is a perfect family vacation spot. If you're looking for a party you probably want to go further south to St. Pete Beach.
