The redhead next to me is my wife Ana. We have 2 daughters who are grown and are on their own (not really, if you are a parent you know) and a 14 pound Schnoodle (he thinks he is a giant). We have been living in the DC metro area for about 36 years and absolutely love it. Washington DC is a beautiful city for people coming here to spend their vacations or attend conferences, weddings, funerals (The Arlington Cemetery), graduations, sight seeing, festivals etc. There isn't any city that offers so much! I manage the properties and Ana tells me what to do (!!!) We are a great team and we really enjoy doing what we do.
Allen purchased this House in 2012
Why Allen chose Embassy Row
This unit is practically brand new!! We gutted it out and redid the whole thing in 2012 :)! The unit is in the Woodley neighborhood of DC which has a ton of restaurants and stores within walking distance! There is a grocery store around the corner from the unit (Manhattan Market) and tons of restaurants and shops in walking distance! The National Zoo is also a 5 minute walk from the house!
What makes this House unique
This house is in walking distance to the Zoo, and metro station (Woodley Park-Zoo). It's close to tons of restaurants and shops. The National Mall is a 20 minute car ride (with no traffic), and a 20 minute metro ride!

Great house and location for a family of 8 adults and 5 children aged 2-7 years. Easy access to train to tourist sites and great restaurants close by. Very enjoyable 5 days in Washington.
Wonderful DC location
Easy metro stop away from the downtown DC Mall. Spacious and clean! Hosts gave prompt attention when I had difficulty getting into the property. I would definitely recommend this home!
Great location, Would Return.
Our travels brought us to Washington DC for a family reunion. We had a group of 10 adults. It is a quaint neighborhood were we felt safe and convenient to the Metro and restaurants. One block to the Metro and restaurants. The owners were attentive and replied quickly to any of our questions. They were a pleasure to work with. The only thing is the parking spots are ideal for 1 car or two small, compact Mini Coppers. The recommended parking garage down the street was great to work with too. Thank you for everything.
INDEPENDENCE DAY IN DC!
Beautiful property in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood! We HIGHLY recommend it!
Great location & environment
We had ages 68 through 11 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time at our lodging - Allen was always prompt with answers for any questions - we found having a Metro station right around the corner perfect for all our sight-seeing in DC. Comfortable & clean home to experience Georgetown & as our base for all our daily adventures.
Home Away From Home
Our family of 11 (9adults and 2kids) stayed here for 6 nights. Plenty of room for us all! We loved the single toilet and walkin shower on main level where our elderly dad had easy access. He slept on the comfortable sofa as stairs are difficult for him to navigate. The 6 beds provided are firm! Juliet and Allen are super easy to communicate with but we didn't need them during our stay. (Well...except to help us figure out how to use the tv) 😁 As others have stated...everything is a block away...the Metro, CVS, liquor store, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, grocery, restaurants (try the Hot n Juicy Crawfish). Our family highly recommends this home for your family while visiting DC! Enjoy!
