Beautiful spot and a wonderful house and grounds!

  • 4 of 5

We had a group of 18 people for a weekend trail running retreat - everything was terrific, with only one small glitch: two of the bathrooms were out of commission for us due to delayed renovation work. Dmitry did refund us some to compensate for the inconvenience, and it was manageable for just two nights. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

The pictures don't do it justice!

  • 5 of 5

My now husband and I chose this home for our wedding ceremony and to host our immediate family and a few close friends for a long weekend. From the very first time we were in contact with Dmitry, we knew this was the place for us! He made it hassle free and allowed us to visit the home twice before our stay. Dmitry was great with quick responses to all the questions we had.

When we arrived, the home was impeccably clean and inviting. Our guests were very impressed with the accommodations. The two kitchens came in very handy for a group of our size and are well equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and the linens were fresh and clean. The surrounding property is absolutely beautiful, private and well maintained. The view from the side porch is indescribable, what a place for a morning cup of coffee. No pictures can really capture how amazing the property is. All of this great scenery but located only a few minutes away from downtown. A few members of our group have already started talking about a return visit! We want the thank Dmitry, the property's owners, house keepers, landscapers, caretaker Louise and everyone else that takes part of the upkeep of this home. You all made it a very special weekend for us and we would not change a thing... Other than having a longer stay!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting

  • 5 of 5

We stayed with 16 people during one of the Vermont Summer Festival weeks. The house is so big we actually barely used several rooms. The two kitchens were very helpful being such a large group. Grill area was just perfect off one of he kitchens. Lots of linens and laundry available onsite. The house is homey and down to earth so that we all felt comfortable. Dmitry was just wonderful to deal with. Instructions were well written and easy to follow. The grounds were just so peaceful and secluded. We raced home every day from the show grounds to watch the sunset and have a glass of wine. We would highly recommend this and will be back again next year if our group is this large.

BEST Family reunion for four Generations!

  • 5 of 5

We had 20 people stay at the house, four generations of one family. We had plenty of room to move around the house and on the property. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The house is comfortably furnished and pleasant to hang out in. There were games around to play with and children's books and toys as well. We all had a great weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect 4th of July weekend with our wedding party!

  • 5 of 5

My sister got married 4th of July weekend and her wedding party, including the bride and groom, all stayed at the house. It couldn't have been more perfect. It slept 20 of us and we had plenty of space to relax! The kids had toys to play with, there was a grill so we could have a casual, easy dinner, there was multiple outdoor locations to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and my sister was able to find a quiet place to do yoga before her big day! We were without hot water the very first morning but Dmitry and the local housekeeper AND plumber were on it before 8 am. Not only was the house comfortable and accommodating, it had so many cool nooks and crannies, photos and interesting books. I could imagine a winter getaway there, cozy inside with friends and hot coco after a day of skiing or snowshoeing. I highly recommend a stay in this large but cozy abode!
