About Ezia or Martin Leach
My name is Ezia but everyone calls me "Z" and I am a professional Face & Body artist. My husband is Martin and he is an IT geek extraordinaire! We have 2 amazing children 3 cats and a dog named, Lucy. We have all been vacationing on the island, as a family, for over 9 years. My husband and I have both been visiting the island for much longer. Myself, since the early 80s and my husband since the early 90s and we just love it here. I get that sense of peace come over me the minute we get on the ferry. I have talked to many people about this feeling and it is a very common feeling amongst vacationers here.

Why Ezia or Martin Leach chose Oak Bluffs
As a HUGE fan of JAWS I came to the island in the early 80s as a 19 year old because I was drawn by the movie filmed here.....but I was hooked by the Gingerbread cottages in Oak Bluffs. It has been a 30 year dream of mine to own one. My husband and I are in love with this cottage. We loved the porch, the huge kitchen and the private patio along with the studio on the property. The location was amazing...so close to so many places yet still on a nice quiet street. What we both love the most is the history this cottage has....since we bought the cottage we have found photos online taken in 1873 of the interior of the cottage taken by more than 5 different photographers of the day. The images are complete with the original owner James Elleman, his wife, sister in law and nieces. We now know that the cottage was built in 1867 according to an old article from 1867 in the Vineyard Gazette! This is a VERY special home away from home for us.

Lovely well maintained cottage centrally located, good energy
As described this classic gingerbread cottage is just steps away from the center of Oak Bluffs center and a quick walk to the end of the street to the beach. The outside garden is perfumed with lavender and a profusion of flowers. The entire family found the beds to be comfortable, the enhanced cooling in the upstairs was a rare treat. All the appliances worked well and the property owner was accessible and more gracious and welcoming than any of our previous rental experiences elsewhere. This cottage has good energy and charm. Recommend without qualificatiin.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, Bob! It was such a pleasure having you and your family stay in our cottage. We love sharing our home with families who appreciate the love we have put into it, truly respect the age of the home and can feel the energy she gives off. That is a magical combination to me.
La Sirena is a special home and we are so happy you found her.
We look forward to having you all come stay again!!
La Sirena is located within minutes of town and 3 blocks from the beach in the beautiful, historic Copeland district. OR you can just sit on the porch and have a cup of coffee and watch the world go by.
