ParkHopper Properties is owned by Carolyn and Charles Hudson. Originally from Mississippi, Birmingham, Alabama has been home for over 39 years. We are the parents of 5 adult children, and we now have LOTS of grandchildren. :o) We cherish the memories we made on family trips to the Orlando area when our children were small. Now that they have their own families, they enjoy bringing their children to the same theme parks they enjoyed as children. Two of our daughters worked as musical performers at Disney both in California and Florida, so even after our children were grown, we made many trips to Disney to see their shows. We have stayed in most of the Disney properties and some private rental properties over the years. Once we 'discovered' Windsor Hills, we never stayed anywhere else! It simply could not be beat for facilities and convenience. In 2012 we decided to buy our first condo in Windsor Hills because we wanted to have a place available to bring our grandchildren. Because our family kept expanding with new grandchildren, we found we needed more room, so we purchased an additional units that suited our location requirements as they became available. With owning multiple units and managing them ourselves, we found that refurbishing the units offered a creative outlet and managing them was somewhat like a part-time job. Now that we are retired (medical and teaching), we decided that managing additional units would be a suitable job for two retirees. ParkHopper Properties now owns and manages a total of 7 condos in Windsor Hills. Five of them are in the building adjacent to the pool, and two are diagonally across the street from the pool building. Having all of the properties close together gives us the flexibility of having properties suitable for larger groups.

We were originally interested in this unit because of several reasons: We already owned the unit across the hall, so this unit was a good choice for us so more members of our family could travel with us. While we like time together, we also like to have individual accommodations for different families. We love the first floor convenience. The elevators at Windsor Hills are conveniently located in the center of each building and are fast, but it is an extra convenience simply to walk into the unit without having to use the elevator. This location is close to the pool and clubhouse area. Our building is diagonally across the street from the pool/clubhouse. It is a 1-2 minute walk/stroll on sidewalks through landscaped grounds to the pool.
What makes this Condo unique
We were originally interested in this unit because it was across the hall from a unit we already owned. When we saw it, we knew this one offered some unique benefits. The main feature we love is the lovely screened lanai. The lanai is surrounded by some very nice Windsor Hills landscaping, and it faces east. There is nice filtered sunshine in the morning and it makes a nice spot for a lesiurely cup of coffee if you are not racing off the the parks for the day. The wicker loveseat, chair, and glass-topped table make the lanai a perfect little outdoor sitting room for 2-3 people. After mid morning, the lanai is shaded and it makes a great spot for some reading in the afternoon and late evening. The shrubbery on either side gives it a cozy, enclosed feeling, and there always seems to be a nice breeze there in the afternoons and evenings. Also in the pictures you can see my car parked just outside the lanai. This is GREAT for bringing in groceries, etc. Just a few steps from the parking to the entrance through the lanai. I think one other somewhat unique benefit is a little brown lizard that always appears in the mornings on the lanai. I stayed in this unit for over a week decorating and setting up after the contractors left. As soon as I would sit on the lanai love seat, in about 5 minutes this little brown lizard would always quietly appear on the opposite arm of the love seat. He would take his position in the sun and we would watch each other quietly. When I went inside, he would stay until the area became shaded and then he would quietly disappear. A condo with a pet lizard is a VERY unique benefit! If you do not wish to share the lanai, with this little guy, simply make some noise and he will disappear. He is a shy, gentle little soul & will not harm you. He only wants to enjoy his little spot of sunshine every morning, & he will happily share his space with you if you are very quiet and move slowly. :o)

Off Disney property
We are a family that normally stays at Disney but this time we were coming to visit our granddaughter that was doing her college internship. The location was close and easy to get to dorm and Disney Springs plus she stayed over one night. We enjoyed the pool while she was at work I love the decor of condo and location on the first floor was great I always over pack so easy to bring suitcase in ..would love to go back Hoping she can go back to start another internship a lot of very upset college kids Thank you
Great location for visiting Disney parks
The condo was perfect for our vacation to Disney World. The main floor was nice and easy to come and go. The pool is a quick walk away. The pool was warm. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was an easy drive to the parks and we could easily come back in the afternoons for a rest or swim before returning in the evening. I would definitely stay here again.
we loved our stay at the mini mouse pad! The condo was spotless when we arrived and was a close drive from Orlando airport. We hit a great weather week so we were able to enjoy the beautiful pool on days off from the parks. My daughter loved the splash pad! The condo could not have been a closer drive to the parks! So convenient. We will definitely stay here again. Can’t wait to go back!
Great place to stay
Super convenient to Disney. Well kept property, and cleanliness of the condo was great.
Our days at Disney we’re so long, we ended up really only sleeping here so didn’t get an opportunity to use any amenities.
Communication and friendliness of owner was terrific. Would stay here again.

Windsor Hills is the closest community vacation resort to Disney (only 2 miles) and is located for easy access to other area attractions including Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens, Wet-N-Wild, Arabian Knights, Medieval Times Dinner Show, Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show, and Dixie Stampede. Its central location provides quick access to major highways so guests can take day trips to beaches and other attractions in other parts of Florida, such as Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Daytona Beach, and Clearwater Beach. In addition, within a few miles there are numerous golf courses, outlet shopping, and hundreds of restaurants, as well as opportunities to visit museums and historic landmarks.
