Clean, spacious, organized. Has everything you need plus a few unexpected extras. Would rent again.
The property is clean and in good condition. The location is quiet and is close to restaurants, Lake Harriet, and easily accessible freeways. It's very nice to have private garage parking .
We had a good experience during our stay. The property was in good condition a in a very good location in Minneapolis with nice neighborhood restaurants within walking distance. Having the garage and washer/dryer were a real plus. A couple of minor recommendations: there were three can openers in the kitchen, none worked. The roller blinds didn't roll up all the way and the living room couch was pretty tired and had no support. But those are minor issues easily addressed.
The owner was next door and very helpful and friendly. We would rent this property again.
My wife and I and our dog spent a very pleasant month at this townhouse. We loved the location, close to some great restaurants and not too far from Lake Harriet. The bed is comfortable and furnishings are satisfactory. We would rent again!
Barbara's town home is indeed the best location ever. It's about a mile (of quiet residential streets) from both the freeway (35) and bike path (Grand Rounds at Minnehaha Parkway) access. And it's less than 20 minutes drive from almost every major attraction in the Twin Cities, from downtown to the Mall of the Americas. Also only a couple minute drive or bike to grocery stores, the diverse restaurants of Minneapolis' famous "Eat Street," and the Midtown Greenway bike path that takes you right into St. Paul as well. The home itself is spacious, well-furnished, and comfortable, and all systems (AC, heat, washer/dryer etc) work fine. The owner lives next door and is easily reachable by text, but gives you all the privacy you want. And the neighborhood is one of the most charming I've seen, with well-kept homes and Little Free Libraries and community art on almost every block. Will happily stay here again.
I used to live in South Minneapolis so know that there are good neighborhoods and no so good ones. This neighborhood is Fabulous, just 9 "short" blocks to Lake Harriet, freeway close, lots of great restaurants, shops, etc. within walking distance - and an incredible Farmers Market on Sundays! Very quiet at the townhouse complex - literally zero noise at night. It was awesome having our car safe in the garage (although the street parking is fine). The townhouse was spacious, nicely appointed and more than adequate for our 10 day stay. Barbara was a delight to do business with and we'd highly recommend it. The only potential 'downside' - which would only matter to us for a longer stay (a month or more) - is that there is no bathroom on the first floor. The only one is upstairs between the 2 bedrooms. Not a big deal at all for us, but it could be an issue for some people. Again - we highly recommend it!
