I have traveled most of my life as an apparel sales representative, and truly value great living accommodations. I strive to provide any extras my guests might need so they can be as comfortable as possible during their stay with me. With a degree in design, I'm constantly improving my home to make it as functional as it is beautiful. I really enjoy hosting and entertaining, but also respect the privacy of my guests..

Why owner/property manager chose Los Angeles

This property is very centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, and the Greater Los Angeles area. You can get to Hollywood in 20 minutes, and the San Fernando Valley in less than 30. Burbank airport is only 20 minutes away and LAX is 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. I'm near the MTA Gold Line, Southwest Museum station where you can buy a day pass for only $7.00 and go just about anywhere in this city in a day. I'm half a block from the Glendale freeway which you don't hear at all. Additionally it's very quiet here as I'm up in the hills. It feels like the country when you're here, but in minutes you can get to most any of Los Angeles' hot spots.

What makes this house unique

Beautiful landscape with a terraced private pool and an outdoor poolside eating area and chaise lounges. A large covered patio looks out over the pool with a seating area. A front deck looking out into the hills with another outdoor seating area. The master suite has a separate entrance off of the garage where you can park your car. The en suite bathroom has a large jetted tub, large separate shower, towel warmer, built in hair dryer, coffee/tea bar and two bath robes. The property features 3 picturesque outdoor seating areas: one on the front deck, looking out into the hills, one poolside and another in the large covered patio looking out to the pool.

Ron and Deb were such a pleasure to host in my home. Both of them are so nice, friendly and appreciative. We had a lot in common as both of them are very much into construction and home improvement. They were so kind to me when I purchased a much needed air conditioning unit for the downstairs since our weather this Summer into October has been unseasonably hot. They literally pitched in and did most of the installation for the air conditioning unit so they could sleep comfortably the next very hot October night. They were so thoughtful that the next morning I got an email from them telling me how comfortable they were the next night in our October, 100 degree weather. I really enjoyed their visit, and hope they come back to stay with me in the future. Ron and Deb, the A/C awaits you!

Very Close and Centrally Located to Pasadena, Hollywood, Griffith Park Observatory, Glendale, Burbank, and the San Fernando Valley. Half an Hour Without Traffic from Santa Monica and Venice Beaches. Home is Very Quiet and Peaceful, but Very Close to the Glendale Freeway.

a decent place to stay

Room was clean, but a bit cramped. Bed was comfortable, the host gracious. The layout of the property puts the small sleeping quarters at a bit of a distance from the balcony and pool. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. We were glad for the lodging because of location.

clean, organized, convenient location, very nice place!

we stayed four nights and everything was great! lots of snacks to choose from, super clean and organized, there were even suggestions of places to eat/visit! i especially loved the jet bathtub, and how we had our own spot in the garage to park our car. judy was super nice and helpful as well, i would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay while in town!!

We absolutely loved our stay!! Judy stocked the place with drinks, cereal, candy bars, etc. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was great. Loved having the garage and automatic door opener during our stay! While the pool and hot tub were something we really wanted to use, we found ourselves up too early and back too late to take advantage. Hopefully next time :) Would love to come back and stay here next time we're back in town!!

An Oasis in the LA area

Had a wonderful 7 day stay. Got to keep our car in the garage. The room was very nice and the bath was wonderful, my wife enjoyed the spa tub. Quiet location. pool area was gorgeous. Judy gave us lots of ideas on where to travel as well as restaurant ideas near buy. Lot's of things to do around the area that were close to the house. Far enough north of LA that when we went to Simi Valley traffic was not as bad as expected. Jody put a lot of thought into the vacation room and was very nice. Quiet area. Was a bit cool to jump in the pool, which we missed, but was quite relaxation. Area around the home was quite. If we go back to Los Angles we'd try to stay there again.

Lovely

Wonderful master suit just off the main house (essentially a basement suit) Well stocked with bath and snack essentials which was very helpful. A little odd at times to hear the conversations from the main house but not disruptive. I would be willing to stay again in the future.
