Most peaceful, relaxing vacation ever!

  • 5 of 5

The Lazy Beagle is definitely the place to go if you are looking for somewhere to unwind. The house is extremely nice and well-kept - super clean when we arrived. By far the best feature is the view/front porch (oh, the sunsets!). We ALL spent the majority of our time there, day and night, including our dog. John is super nice and super easy to contact with any questions. The layout of the house is a bit odd in places, but we made it work for our family. Although it's in a secluded location, everything you need is about a 20 minute drive away. We would not hesitate at all to stay again and hope to soon.

Amazing views at the Lazy Beagle

  • 5 of 5

Everything about the house was well thought out. The game room was awesome and the house had everything we needed to have a great, relaxing stay. The dock was very nice to fish from and we used it a lot. A storm came thru one night while we were in the game room playing pool. A big turtle was knocking on the glass door to come in from the storm, we still have a had time believing that actually happened. All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to get away from it all. We would definitely do it again if we were down there again. It is 650 miles from us, so its a long ride in one day. John was great to deal with and I would highly recommend using his property.

Thanks for the great trip,

Steve & Sharon

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Beagle.

The house was very nice and very clean. It's in a nice quite area, perfect for relaxing. While I didn't meet the owner in person, he was more than helpful with any questions I had over the phone. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a place to stay on lake guntersville. I look forward to visiting again.

Peaceful lakeside home.

  • 5 of 5

Everything was better than anticipated! Loved the large house, well stocked with everything we needed and more. The fireplace was special and cozy. Lots of toys, games, recreation for all ages. Pool table, board games, darts, croquet and horseshoes. The owner gave quick responses to all our questions. We would highly recommend this secluded home if you want to relax, fish, recharge your batteries.
