Enjoy our top-rated, peaceful, spacious retreat with a relaxing pond view in Rehoboth Beach. You can't get any closer to downtown Rehoboth Beach without being in the thick of it. This four-level townhouse in the small, but highly-desirable Canal Landing complex is your perfect stay to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Tucked along the canal right off Rehoboth Avenue, you'll appreciate this close but quiet, tranquil escape from all the beach town buzz. This location, east of Route 1, allows you a quick walk across the bridge into downtown within minutes for boutique browsing, fine dining, and beach bumming. Yet, you'll enjoy the easy, hassle-free car access to Rt. 1 on your way to Delaware's beautiful outlying beaches, outlet shopping, movies and amusements. Forget the traffic getting into or out of downtown Rehoboth Beach...this spot really is the best of both worlds.
More than you might expect: We think you'll find our beach house to be the perfect place to enjoy your stay at the shore. Canal Landing really is the best kept secret when it comes to close-in townhouses. Perfect location, ideal amenities, and tranquil surroundings make this the obvious choice. Canal Landing offers a heated outdoor pool (a rare amenity in the area), a canal dock, a pond with fountain, and landscaped grounds. The townhouse has a garage, driveway and reserved space, accommodating parking for three vehicles. Secured wireless internet and digital cable, with a DVR and premium movie channels, are provided. Located east of Rt. 1 just a couple blocks to downtown.
Nicely upgraded and appointed: The townhouse is tastefully decorated and upgraded throughout. Kitchen extras include granite countertops, a deep-basin sink, undercabinet lighting, a smooth cooktop oven, a convection oven/microwave combo, and a side-by-side fridge with an ice and water dispenser. Beautiful hardwood floors and recessed lighting on the main living room and kitchen level set this townhouse apart. The fully equipped kitchen should meet all your cooking and entertainment needs. And for the barbeque enthusiast, we have a large, infrared-style gas grill. The living room entertainment center is equipped with HDTV with a DVR, surround sound, and in-ceiling speakers, with a Bluetooth audio adapter to wirelessly stream music from your own devices. Access the free, secure, private (non-shared) WiFi network throughout the townhouse. The loft and two master suites also have TVs.
Spacious and comfortable layout: The townhouse is approximately 2800 sq. ft. The first floor has garage access, a washer and dryer, and a private master suite. The suite is equipped with a queen-size Sleep Number bed, large desk, bath with shower, large walk-in closet, a small HDTV and sliding glass doors to the patio with a direct view of the pond. The second floor contains a half bath, kitchen, dining and living area, which opens to a screened porch, overlooking the pond and perfect for dining alfresco. The third floor has a very spacious master suite, with a queen bed, cathedral ceiling, HDTV, walk-in closet, bath with double sinks and large shower. The suite opens out onto a top deck, perfect for sunbathing or stargazing. The third floor also has another smaller bedroom with a queen bed. Off the hallway is a common bathroom with a full size tub. Finally, the top floor is a large, private loft area, with a flexible space for use as a 4th bedroom, but also perfect for movie night or game time. The loft is furnished with a couch and chairs, a game table, and a queen bed. The loft has a flat panel TV with DVD player and a sizeable DVD library.

This property is our home away from home when we go to Rehoboth Beach. We first rented here in 2011, then again in 2012 then again in 2016. Don't believe me, check out my other two reviews.
It's a great property. The home is very modern with all of the amenities you need and above all, super clean! When staying here, it doesn't feel like your typical musty beach home, the home is elegeantly appointed with an upscale feel. The wireless network is new and strong enough for many devices on any floor. The TV's are connected to the latest Xfinity receivers with DVR's that have on-demand so that you can search for, record and pause your show or movie. The kids always had a blast in the loft, which also has a queen size bed. The junior suite in the basement has a large walk-in closet with a full bath, computer desk and direct access to the patio with a BBQ grill. The neighborhood is clean, quite and very pleasing, a great place to take an evening walk. The neighborhood pool is heated, stays open until 10pm and a 1 minute walk from the front door. The owner stocks the garage with everything you need; bikes, beach chairs, beach toys and boogie boards. One evening we ate a bushel of crabs (check out The Crab House) on the screened porch, without a single bug bite! The main level television is hooked up to a surround sound system that can rock the house, a great place to entertain!
The house is not on the beach, but your only a 5 minute drive to the boardwalk and it's not an issue at all. The house is right off of US1, so you are practically surrounded by restaurants, shopping and even waterparks (check out Midway or Jungle Jims). If you are going to the beach, I highly recommend downloading the ParkMobile app so that you can buy parking meter minutes via your phone, you won't need a bag of quarters anymore. Check out FunLand, the kids will love it!
It's near impossible to think of one negative thing about our stay. The owner is AWESOME and will welcome you to the home within a couple of hours of arriving. The owner also checked in via text to make sure all was well.

We loved staying at the Canal property. It was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Beds were all comfortable, bathrooms clean and we especially enjoyed using the owner's bicycles. I would definitely recommended it and would stay there again.
This property is actually bigger and better than the pictures! We enjoyed the screened in porch and the decks, the privacy afforded by four separate levels, safe and quiet neighborhood, heated pool (enjoyed after days at the beach) and parking spaces right at the townhouse. Owners were super responsive and everything from the multiple baths and comfy beds were appreciated! Everyone loved the close Crystal Kitchen restaurant and donuts are to die for at bakery at property entrance. Restaurants and boardwalk are walk-able, but beach requires a car for all your stuff! Beach is beautiful and waves were great! Loved Rehoboth and loved this place!
We were a party of 6, Grandma, Grandpa, my daughter, her husband and our two granddaughter’s, ages 9 and 13. We chose this property because of it amenities, central location, and facilities. We were not disappointed with any of them. Everything is as described by the owners and more. The owners were very responsive to all of our inquiries and contacted us at arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone.
Traffic in the area can get quite congested during prime time so it was nice that we could walk to almost everything.
We ate the majority of our meals on the screened in balcony. The BBQ was used almost daily. After a day at the beach and roaming the boardwalk we swam in the pool every day.
If you are looking for calmer waters and great beach try Lewes Beach about 10 minute drive from the condo.
Most restaurants /bars offer happy hour specials daily. Our favorite was FINS just a short walk from the condo. I left a menu in the information binder. The oysters were a favorite with my son-in-law and I and my granddaughter could not get enough of the steamed clams.
We took a short trolley ride on the Monday night to Bethany Beach where they offer a free movie night on the beach. Big screen and stereo sound.
It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end.
There was one negative aspect to our visit, the highly recommended bakery at the entrance to the complex was closed for renovations. They reopened the day we left.
This townhouse was perfect for our party of 6. It was so spacious that it could have easily accommodated another family as well. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and everyday essentials such as saran wrap and foil and spices. Everything was very clean and in good condition. We would come back to the house for a few hours during the hottest part of the day and it was very pleasant. The kids would do some reading, playing and watch tv and I would happily putz around doing laundry or preparing dinner.
It is about a mile from the beach which was no problem because we hit the beach around 9 am and parking is plentiful at that time. Remember to bring a few rolls of quarters. We used the beach chairs and sand buckets and shovels in the garage so no need to pack those.
We enjoyed the walk into town for dinner/shopping/ice cream. Twice we hit Funland on the boardwalk after dinner. The kids really loved the rides and games.
The pool is very nice and clean and was never crowded. The kids had a blast swimming there every day.
I would definitely recommend this townhouse! We hope to return next summer!
Location: We were looking for a place near the main strip and close enough to town to be able to walk to restaurants and shopping. This location works for that but is not quite close enough to the beach (depending on how much stuff you want to take!). We did find very close beach parking, so that wasn't an issue. Townhouse: Very clean and spacious accommodations! We loved that there was a master suite on the very first floor - this served my grandmother very well when she wanted her own "space" and some privacy. The kitchen opens up in to the main living room and the enclosed deck was additional space that we enjoyed. It got a little loud on Friday night - when the complex started to fill up. We simply shut the door and there were no issues. Amenities: Lots of everything you'd have in your own home (especially the kitchen). Great movie selection - lots for kids to watch too. We loved the "big bear" in the loft. Kid Friendliness: We had 2 babies with us (both under 12 mos). The coffee table in the living room has sharp edges, we were able to mitigate this by using masking tape and paper towels to pad the corners. You'll need to bring your own baby gates and cribs/pack n plays. The sink served as a GREAT bathtub for our little Vivian! Additional notes: Super great communication from the homeowner which included a follow-up call after we'd arrived to ensure everything was OK. Check out the little bakery right outside of the complex (closed on Wednesdays), they have great pastries! Crystal's was good too! Overall we were really happy and would rent here again.
