About the property

3 Bedrooms, 3 and 1/2 Baths, Sleeps 10

Point of View has a large, wraparound second floor balcony and a smaller 3rd floor step-out balcony. There is also a large, wraparound porch on first floor that overlooks the private pool. From behind the pool in the backyard you will literally only walk about 10 steps right on to the boardwalk that takes you to the beach. There are no streets to cross. Free Wifi is available if you bring a laptop computer. The home has a charcoal grill and two outdoor showers - one open shower on one side of the home and another enclosed shower with interior bench on the other side of the home. There is parking for 2 vehicles. 3 vehicles may be possible if all the vehicles are not large, but it will be tight backing in and out.

In addition, the home is ideally located only about 1/3 mile to 723 Whiskey Bravo Restaurant and Cowgirl Kitchen, 1/2 mile to Seagrove Village Market Cafe AND 'V' Restaurant, and only about 1 mile east of the resort community of Seaside where there are more restaurants and shopping.

Guest Bedroom - bunk bed and trundle bed - sleeps four - 1st floor

Guest Bedroom - queen-size bed - sleeps two - 3rd floor

The Beaches of South Walton are on the Emerald Coast of Florida that is famously known for white, sandy beaches and emerald green water. Stay at Point of View beach house and bask in the sun on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

An administrative processing fee and Florida state and Walton County local taxes are extra.

Small dogs that are 25 pounds or less (1 or 2) will be considered for an additional non-refundable pet fee. Dogs MUST be housebroken. Cats or any other type of pet are not allowed. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Only the home is dog friendly. Pets are not allowed on the beach in Walton County unless you are a resident or own property here and even then only with a permit and between certain hours.

7-night minimum stays are usually required over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Shorter stays will be considered closer to an arrival date if the property has not booked.

Spring Break 2016

We stayed at this beach house in March/April 2016. We had mom& dad, 2 daughters and their families, ages 2-72. The house was exactly what we were looking for! Easy and close access to the beach. You literally walk out the backyard and onto the boardwalk for a very short walk to the beach! There was plenty of room for everyone with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the first floor and another bed/bath on the 3rd floor. Den and kitchen on middle floor. The kids loved the pool, which was heated and great for the sometimes chilly weather we had during our stay. The first and second floors had huge outdoor patios/balconies with a relaxing hammock. We have been staying in different houses/condos for the past 15 years during spring break, Labor Day, and during the summer, hoping to one day find a perfect place that suited our family, that was very close to the beach. We finally found it! Julie at the rental agency couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We had a great time!! We will be back for our summer vacation and hopefully for many years to come!!

Guests are not allowed to bring their dog on to the beach in Walton County. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's 2017 winter weeks have a 7-night minimum stay requirement. Shorter stays are accepted in all seasons closer to the arrival date if the home has not booked. A minimum age of 25 is required to rent. Children staying with their parents are welcome. The maximum number of people that may occupy the home is 6 adults and 4 children for a maximum total of ten. Also, we do not rent to college age groups that are vacationing together whether or not a chaperone intends to stay at the home.
