Enjoy this unobstructed million dollar view of beautiful Lake San Cristobal while sitting on the spacious deck or looking through the large picture window. Relax with a book on the deck while listening to the birds sing and breathing the crisp clear mountain air. When you are ready for adventure, enjoy a hike up along the Slumgullion Creek to the old Golconda Mine and enjoy a spectacular view of the lake. Enjoy fishing in the lake or nearby streams, hiking to waterfalls, or up to the top of one of the magnificent 14ers. This cabin is one of the original cabins from the Golconda Resort that has all the modern amenities of home. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom (remodeled) as well as a full kitchen and living room area. Jump onto the adjacent Alpine Loop to explore and adventure on your ATV or 4-wheeler directly from the cabin. A 10 minute drive takes you to the charm of Lake City with quaint shopping, wonderful food and drink. While autumn visits are rewarded with spectacular color, a late autumn visit can be rewarded with an occasional light snowfall. There is a fire pit outside to relax and re-live the adventures while enjoying some s?mores and sitting under a blanket of stars. Sweet dreams!
