Thischarming cabin is nicely decorated with a fun wildlife theme and is pet friendly. It has a wood floors in the living room, remodeled bathroom and vaulted aspen ceilings. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other has two twin beds plus a pull out sofa in the living room area. It has a covered deck with a large table to enjoy dinner outside as well as a fire pit with a view of the lake to cook your smores on after a fun day in the mountains. You can access the Alpine Loop directly from this cabin....no trailering needed. Come enjoy this charming cabin!
We purchased this property to use as our vacation home. It is now used exclusively as a rental as we now own Lakeview Property Management in Lake City and rent this cabin along with 24 others. This property is still special to us as we spent many fun times with our children while on vacation in the Lake City area. You will see many pictures of our fun times throughout the cabin.
I grew up coming to the Lake City area as a child and was born and raised in Colorado. My family has been visiting Lake City since the 1950's and still enjoy it today.
Sitting out on the deck or around the campfire listening to the breeze blow through the aspen trees is something that to us is "priceless".
My wife and I + our black lab "sweetz" stayed here for 4 nights. Went for jeep rides at the Sportmans in Lake City and came back each day to this lovely cabin. Spent lots of time on the front porch Looking at the changing color. The Master bedroom with the King Bed was wonderful.
My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend, and enjoyed the beautiful location and proximity to Lake City and the Alpine loop. The rustic and quaint cabin is true to the description and photos, located across the road from the lake which is beautiful. Our main attraction to this cabin is that we could bring our dog with no extra fee! My one complaint however is that it didn't appear that the cabin was cleaned super thoroughly as there was dog hair in the carpet and on the bed from previous visitor's, but it is a pet friendly cabin. The office person I spoke to was very friendly and accommodating. We rented a jeep and did the alpine loop which was a blast. The locals in town were super friendly, and there are some cool art stores. Be forewarned that the town seems to shut down around 7pm, and the food options are limited.
Encompassing more than one thousand square miles of untamed beauty, “ah factors” are a constant in this northeastern corner of Colorado’s mystical San Juan Mountains. From climbers to fishermen and hunters, from 4-wheel enthusiasts to hikers, bikers and horseback riders, from birdwatchers to Old West history buffs – magical moments are spun into heirloom memories passed on and recreated generation after generation.
