About Michael Yeung

I live in the Boston area and have been vacationing in Provincetown for the last 10 years. Each year, I come back to enjoy the lovely Herring Cove Beach, the wonderful town and all that it has to offer, and of course, to unwind with great company. I am still astounded that there's something new to discover each time!

Michael Yeung purchased this condo in 2014

Why Michael Yeung chose Cape Cod

Location, location, location!

I love the West End because of its proximity to everything, which is all within walking and biking distance away. While it is centrally located, it is also just far enough away to be the perfect quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of Commercial Street.

What makes this condo unique

Example of activities within a 5 minute walk from the property:

1) Brunch at Devon's Deep Sea Dive

2) Pick up a nice bottle of Pinot Noir from Perry's

3) Hit up Victor's raw bar happy hour

4) Tea dance at the Boatslip

5) Shoot some hoops at the West End Playground

6) Stroll down the town's public beach

Tons more!

Very nice condo!!!

  • 5 of 5

We were late to make a reservation this year, but we sure lucked out with this gem of a condo. A very nice above ground level condo blocks away from Commercial Street. Upon arrival, the condo was clean and ready for check in. Check out was a breeze and deposit returned within a few days!

The owner was more than helpful with activity suggestions and always making sure we had everything we needed. All in all a great experience.

Good location

  • 3 of 5

We really enjoyed our trip to P-town, especially being able to walk everywhere in town. The apartment is well furnished and has the necessary modern conveniences. The air conditioning units sit in the floor in the living room and master bedroom and take up a lot of space and are noisy but necessary on warm days due to the heat coming from the hot water heater in the middle of the unit. The ceilings are low and it feels a bit cramped.

There are very detailed instructions for using all of the equipment in the rental.

great location with all the amenities

  • 5 of 5

23 Mechanic was the ideal place for me and my friends to stay during our annual July 4th week in Provincetown. It was centrally located in the West End, less than a minute walk to Relish and just a couple minutes to the Boatslip or the heart of Commercial Street's retail/dining core. But with bicycles included for the week, the Ptown Inn Pool and the East End art gallerys were also just a few minutes away! In nine visits to Ptown, I've never had that kind of perk before--amazing. As for the house itself, the two bedrooms were very quiet and the living room more than large enough for the three of us. The beds were comfortable and the linens nice. The kitchen was fully stocked, and included an espresso machine as well as coffee maker that included coffee. The house also included a ton of bath towels, including hand towels, and even beach towels--so many you wouldn't need to do laundry for the week. Finally, around the corner was a lovely, secluded patio with a large table, a nice sitting area, and a grill. Whether we used it for grilling or just to have a place to sit and enjoy a quick bite outside, the patio was great for entertaining. All-in-all, Michael was a wonderful and responsive host and his home was an ideal place to stay for a week in a one of the most idyllic places in the world.

Ptown Condo

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the condo over 4th of July week. The location was perfect, just a few blocks away from all the restaurants and bars on Commercial. The condo was comfortable and the owner went out of his way to make my friend and I feel at home. I will definitely stay again.

A little history about the property: Edward C. “Babe” Carreiro (1926-2008), proprietor of Tip for Tops’n, and crew member of the Shirley & Roland, acquired this property in 1957, with his wife, Eva Elizabeth (Cook) Grace Carreiro (1925-2000). It had been owned by Clara (Cabral) Cook, the daughter of Amos Cabral (±1877-1948), a fisherman who came in about 1900 from São Miguel in the Azores, and his wife, Mary Gloria (Dears) Cabral (d 1955), who also came from São Miguel. The Carreiros moved to Truro in 1997. This is now a three-unit condo.
