Beautiful location.

Beautiful location. You should advertise the short "bush walk" down through the hedge to the beach. Couldn't believe a house so close to the beach could have such a high view. The dishwasher still needs to be sorted. It was broken when we were there.

Fantastic location, sheltered from most of the winds that Akaroa gets, Beautiful views toward Wainui. The house is open plan and accommodated out family of five perfectly.

Rubbish bins were fill when we arrived on the Friday, and we had rubbish that couldn't fit in until collection day (which we figured out was Monday, but only for recycling). The railing on the deck is unsafe and needs remedial work. H&S Issue. Water pressure I shower was way too low.

Great views of the harbour, lovely to hear only the wind, birdsong and the lapping of waves on the shore , I could spend a week just sitting on the deck just taking it all in.

This quirky home is nicely furnished and reasonably spacious, great location leading to walking tracks and a ten minute walk to restaurants etc. Don't forget the downstairs room as we almost did and the table football on the lower level. Washing machine/dryer appeared to be absent when we stayed in Jan 2017.

Owner's Response: Hi Thanks for your feedback. We are pleased you really enjoyed this lovely home. The absent washing machine/dryer live in the cupboard by the front door entrance . The long white fold in doors along with the laundry sink .They are very much present :)

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this property in an area of Akaroa we've never stayed in before.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this property in an area of Akaroa we've never stayed in before. Views are absolutely gorgeous, rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Wonderful bird life! My parents had their own little sanctuary down the steps, although I would suggest a little fridge would be a great addition in that room. If I was being really picky, I'd say better kitchen knives would be a real bonus :) Would definitely stay here again.

The view from this home was beautiful!

The view from this home was beautiful! We also loved the proximity to town and the hiking trails in the area. We were able to relax, but also find things to do to keep us busy during our stay.
