Welcome to YuleTide, a unique loft experience in the heart of historic downtown Apalachicola, FL. Apalachicola is a quaint southern town with a strong maritime culture, an eclectic group of locally owned shops and galleries, and award winning restaurants featured in Wine Spectator, Coastal Living, and Southern Living. All are within a block or two of YuleTide. You may enjoy an evening dining in and the complete kitchen, outdoor grill, and private courtyard make it comfortable and easy. Bicycles are provided so you may peddle past the gorgeous Victorian homes and Lafayette Park in the historic southern neighborhood. Or spend a day exploring the miles of pristine beaches at nearby St George Island, a short 15 minute drive across the spectacular Apalachicola Bay. There is an endless supply of bays and waterways, excellent fishing, and acres of National and State forests to explore. This is home to some of the finest oysters and seafood in the country and YuleTide is privately tucked away in the heart of it all!

My husband and I visited Apalachicola in June of 2013 and stayed at the loft; we have been searching for the quintessential Southern town – unspoiled by high-rise condos and chains – we found it in Apalach. We loved Apalach and the loft so much, we leapt at the chance to become the new owners and plan to continue to share the loft with visitors when we are not there.
The former owner is an artist and business woman who expertly renovated the space into the lovely loft you see pictured on the web site. With its exposed brick inside, expansive Cypress woodwork and airy high ceilings, the loft is a welcoming haven for visitors. It has the charm of downtown Apalach right outside its door, but also has privacy with an entry through a charming gated courtyard. Many restaurants and shops in the community have been featured in Southern Living, Coastal Living, and Wine Spectator. But what really sold us is the charm of the local residents. Nice people and genuinely kind with visitors.
Apalach is a walk-around-town with a collection of interesting and quaint shops. We’d be glad to share our favorites when you contact us. The loft was wonderful and fit our needs perfectly! The location is great if you want to be in downtown Apalach and close to a great neighborhood to bike through. The exposed brick and board and batten walls made the accommodations very cozy with character. Thank you from the Greens!
Beautiful loft in downtown Apalachicola, FL. We love the central location, close to all the restaurants, bars and shopping. The private courtyard is a bonus for the privacy it lends. It has everything you need to prep a meal if you feel like staying in for the night. This was our second stay at Yule Tide, and plan on coming back next year.
Really like the loft and the way it was decorated and it was clean. But very disappointed right when we arrived and it was located right beside the marathon gas station and realized the fence was see through! OH, and the marathon had a lot of customers who liked to play loud music and yell. So didn't really get to enjoy that "private" patio and it was one of the biggest things with this rental property that we looked forward to. Kind of wish I could get a refund, it was a let down. Other than the disappointment of the patio situation and gas station it was a nice rental and you could walk to many stores and restaurants in the area.
The stay was perfect. Being so close to town was great. Access to water front, restaurants just steps away made it ideal!
