About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Other (See Description), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

Located in the famous Spence Manor, overlooking music row, stay in a unique and spacious condo with a great history! Walkable to everything Nashville has to offer, this is the best location in the city. Perfect as a musician's retreat, it comes equipped with an acoustic guitar and a digital piano. You can check out Nashville's rich music history and get inspired to write a song of your own all in one place!

Newly renovated one bedroom, one bath can sleep up to 6 comfortably. One queen bed and one very large and comfortable sectional sofa make for lots of sleeping room. There is also an air mattress in the unit and plenty of floor space! The unit comes with one covered parking space but is also very accessible by cab. Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, Titans and Predators games, Bridgestone Arena, Lower Broadway/Honky Tonk district and Nashville's abundant entertainment options are all at your fingertips. I am happy to help with suggestions or additional needs that you may have during your stay.

Relax in the Webb Pierce guitar shaped swimming pool during the summer. Enjoy food and drinks at more than 20 restaurants and bars, all located within 2 blocks of you - and some right across the street! Only blocks away from downtown and 15 minutes from the airport, this truly is the ultimate Nashville location.

Spence Manor used to be Nashville's only 5 star hotel and would commonly attract the likes of U.S. Presidents and musical legends including Elvis, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Willie Nelson and more during its years as a premiere hotel.

Perfectly Fine

We really liked the location for the price. Other than the cab to and from the apt., we were able to walk everywhere. If you plan to spend your entire stay down in lower Broadway, you might want to look for something closer. But we walked down there almost every day as well as over to Centennial Park and to Bicentennial Capital Mall Park and to the public market. It was kind of right in the center of all those places. It's on Music Row but at the northern edge making it close to the Gulch (a great little neighborhood of restaurants and shops) and even closer to Demonbreun Hill making dinner and drinks less than a block away. The amenities were adequate except the water pressure in the shower was REALLY weak but that wasn't a deal breaker. It's a REAL quiet building. Our stay overlapped New Years weekend. We got back from a NYE concert at 2:00AM expecting to hear some partying in the rooms around us and it was just dead silent on all sides of us. It was like that every night too. That's the HUGE difference between this property and a hotel. Bottom line, if I go to Nashville again I'll probably look to see if this property is available again. It'd be my first choice for price, location, and chill factor.

Perfect location!!!!

  • 4 of 5

Overall our stay was wonderful! Only suggestion would be a "welcome" packet for guests that tells exactly what to do with keys when leaving, suggestions on places to eat in the area and cable/wifi! Other than that it was a great place to stay that I would suggest to anyone coming to the area!

Owner's Response: All of the 'welcome' information is included in the homeaway app that you download to receive checkin instructions. There are several pages of suggestions as well as check out information. Thank you for your stay and review!

Great place, great location

  • 4 of 5

We had a great stay at this condo on Music Row. The location is great... close enough to all the action of Broadway (15 min walk), but far enough away that it's a nice, quiet, safe area. We would stay here again when we visit Nashville again.

P.S. If you stay here, walk over to The Row for breakfast/brunch. You won't regret it!!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We arrived on a Monday and left on a Friday. The condo was clean. There were a few things in the process of being worked on and the smoke detector was off. However, it was a wonderful place to stay. It felt like home and was only about a 20-25 minute walk to downtown Broadway. I would stay here again, definitely!

A lot left to be desired

  • 2 of 5

In reading other reviews there seemed to be a mix of favorable to unfavorable so we decided to give it a chance. My wife and I are by no means picky but for renting this place price of a hotel you'd expect to have it least be in good condition. Examples of this include; Floors were uneven with carpet coming up, the fridge was broken, the kitchen is nothing more then a hot plate and a microwave. The hot water wasn't working, outlets were iffy, the bed was small, and there was a smell to the whole apartment One reviewer stated everything is just a bit broken and that is the perfect way to put it. If you aren't paying 80 bucks a night I wouldn't bother and just get yourself a hotel instead. Only giving the two stars because the owner was very nice and helpful otherwise would have given less

Owner's Response: The carpet was professionally installed by home depot last year but they messed up the subfloor. I had it restretched last week and they are coming out one more time to fix the subfloor issue. The hot water was definitely working - if it was out it would have been out in the entire building. Sometimes it takes a minute to heat up which I am assuming was the case. The bed is a queen bed - I would hardly call that small. All of the outlets work, the lightbulbs have been replaced and the kitchen counter has been retiled. In response to the kitchen amenities, all of them are listed in the description. Thank you for your review!
