Spence Manor used to be Nashville's only 5 star hotel and would commonly attract the likes of U.S. Presidents and musical legends including Elvis, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Willie Nelson and more during its years as a premiere hotel.

christina purchased this condo in 2005
The location is literally the best in Nashville and the building's history, along with the famous guitar shaped pool, sealed the deal for me!
Nashville is known as America's friendliest city and in this location you will see why! Plenty of places all around you to meet people and experience the local culture. Situated right on the roundabout, you will always be able to find a cab or walk if you choose to. The building is secure with coded access so you will always feel safe during your stay.
We arrived on a Monday and left on a Friday. The condo was clean. There were a few things in the process of being worked on and the smoke detector was off. However, it was a wonderful place to stay. It felt like home and was only about a 20-25 minute walk to downtown Broadway. I would stay here again, definitely!
Location is wonderful and the pool a real treat. Booking and ease of check in is fantastic and the quality of facilities excellent. We had a wonderful stay and hope to stay next year again. Thank you x
I booked this condo for a bachelorette party. There were 5 of us and Christina's place was perfect. I had a few queations while on my stay, however she was always quick to help and so accommodating. I highly reccomend staying here.
The location and the rate (given the high cost of hotels close to downtown Nashville) were great. The property itself needs some attention. There were two room keys, but only one worked. The refrigerator door has to be shoved shut because there's a piece of baseboard trim blocking it from closing easily. Most of the light fixtures are missing bulbs, have burnt out bulbs, or are missing the switch to turn them on all together. I opened a drawer in the bathroom and the face of the drawer came off on one side. The counter in the kitchen isn't level by about an inch drop on one end. The DVD player worked, but it wasn't connected to the tv (I really don't want to deal with wiring electronics as part of my vacation time). No one thing was a big deal, but as a group it just indicates an overall lack of care for the property. I've stayed in several VRBO locations over the years and they were all well maintained until this stay.
We have stayed in condo's at Spence Manor before and will again, just not in this condo. Kitchen counter is uneven, it is buckled where the coffee maker sits, the light in the kitchen is dim, the refrigerator sticks to the base board when closing so you can't gently close it, it has to be forced. Also the outlets in the kitchen area are not in convenient areas, cords going along the sink area. Living room couch is quite worn so you sink in when sitting, and the mattress in the pull-out couch is thin and has many large stains on it, not suitable for sleeping. No extra pillows, just sheets and blankets to use for the pull-out. Bathroom vents were filthy and there were lightbulbs burnt out. Owner replied to texts prior to arrival but then once arrived no response. We had family staying in the condo directly below and it was a vast improvement in quality and comfort. We would not recommend this property to anyone.
You are in the best location in Nashville! More than 20 restaurants and bars are within 2 blocks of you. Right across the street, there is a neighborhood pub with good drinks and friendly people! Two blocks down is Patterson House, a speakeasy that was featured in Food and Wine Magazine. Above that, there is The Catbird Seat. Reservation only 9-12 course prix fixe tasting menu that changes daily and was recently recognized by the James Beard Foundation! You can walk everywhere from here...to Predators games, Titans games, all the Honky Tonk bars on Broadway, and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
