Perfect Location!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I just returned from a 5-night stay at Steve's place. Not knowing anything about the area, we certainly lucked out for location. It is so close to everything! We hiked (areas provided by Steve), we shopped, we ate, and was able to find the church of my choice, all just within a couple of miles from the condo. We spent one afternoon downtown and we were so grateful we chose not to stay there. When we arrived, we had questions about the coffee maker - it was too fancy for our simple minds, so I called Steve with questions about it and he offered to come over to walk us through a few things including the operation of the TV and its remotes. He was there within 5 minutes. The next day, my husband couldn't get the TV to cooperate so he called Steve and, once again, even though this time he was headed out of town on his way to Sacramento, he turned around and came over to see if he could fix the problem! It took a while, but then he remembered he had forgotten to tell us that the remote needed to be charged! I gave it 4 stars because the pool area was not really convenient - across the street but really not far, and the balcony is too small to sit out in the evenings with a cocktail. This condo was equipped first class. We have rented many condos on VRBO but have never had one this well stocked. A nice bottle of wine and chocolate bar awaited us upon our arrival. You won't be disappointed.

Quiet, clean, and relaxing Reno escape!

  • 5 of 5

We felt very comfortable in Steve's meticulous condo! Everything we needed was there , including chocolate and a bottle of wine! We were never more than 15 minutes from any of our destinations in Reno, but we were off the beaten path enough to get away from the "downtown Reno life". Steve even included directions and reviews of some nearby trails when he found out we wanted to go running. Throughout the entire process of booking, checking in/out Steve was thorough and prompt in returning calls or messages. Thanks for making our Memorial Day in Reno a relaxing worry-free vacation.

Great condo, the home away from home

  • 5 of 5

I loved staying at the condo, everything you need is closed by. Very calm and quiet residence. Steve made everything clear and top knotch before our arrival and was always there to help when needed. Great stay, if I comeback I will definitely try to stay here again.

I greatly recommend.

Owner's Response: My second international guests! It was a pleasure, as always, to host such fantastic people. And, coincidentally the condo was left in perfect condition. Are awesome guests and excellent stewards of my home a coincidence? I think not :) Merci beaucoup!

Clean and Cozy in Reno

  • 5 of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this comfortable, cozy and clean condo. Steve is a gracious host, attending to every detail. The condo complex is pleasant and quiet, lots of green lawn and mature trees with nice strolling options in the surrounding neighborhood. This condo was a welcome refuge at the end of a busy day!

I would stay there again!

  • 5 of 5

Steve has a very nice place, and we enjoyed it completely. He provided us with food, drink and all the comforts of home. The condo was exactly as described...and in wonderful shape.

Highs:

Great location (away from downtown, centrally located in the Valley)

Quiet (even though it is close to the freeway)

Comfy beds

Nice fridge and stove and pots and pans

Attractive furnishings

Areas for improvement:

Air conditioner is a little noisy

Kitchen needs a soup ladle

That's mighty few areas for improvement. I would absolutely recommend Steve's place to anyone, and would stay there again, too!

Car: recommended

Located 10 minutes from downtown/midtown Reno, and 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe and Virginia City, the condo is situated perfectly for those who want to explore what Northern Nevada has to offer. You can't beat the Lake Tahoe North Shore in the summer months, and skiers and snowboarders are 25 minutes to Mt Rose Ski Resort in the winter season. Excellent mountain biking and hiking surrounds the area.

I've lived in the area for 37 years and can give you excellent recommendations for any events or activities you might want to explore. Just message me!
