Cannon Beach is a bustling coastal town full of great restaurants, galleries and local shops. It is also well known for its long sandy beach, Haystack Rock and the tidepools that form around it, and Ecola Park with its abundance of wildlife and trails.
Cannon Beach limits us to only one rental every 14 days, so this house has limited check-in and checkout dates in the summer. We offer discounts for longer stays! You can use the online calendar to make a reservation or give us a call at 503-345-9399 if you have any questions.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Cannon Beach was an easy 3 hour get away from Seattle. We enjoyed being so close to the beach- just 1 house back. Walking to shops and restaurants was easy.
Comfortable beds, great access to beach and shops and restaurants.
Not good for lifting 50lb older dog up an down steep stairway- other wise average place!
We recently stayed at the Haystack Cottage for a week (June 2016) and had the most amazing time.
Our group consisted of two couples, and the cottage, location, and layout was just perfect for us.
This is a hidden gem, and although the reviews are glowing, they STILL do not do it justice!!
The cottage is literally one house back from the beach, and a couple of blocks from the township of Cannon Beach.
The cottage was immaculately clean, and had everything we could possibly need.
The highlights for us were (apart from the epic location and cute house), the large living space - enough couches for 4 people to each have their own space to snooze and read, and the sunny deck and grass area - perfect for more snoozing and reading.
Cannon Beach itself is just stunning, and we were lucky enough to be there for the annual sand castle competition.
If we are ever back on the Oregon coast, Cannon Beach and the Haystack Cabin will be first on our list.
Thank you for a truly wonderful holiday in your special place.
My family has been going to Cannon Beach for over 3 decades. Lately, we've been giving Vacasa a try, and found this house. The description was fairly accurate. House is not "Ocean-View" as described, but that was okay. It was very close to the beach (50 foot walk), and super close to town, so that made up for it. House was well-sized, was great for a cozy 3-4 day getaway. Some downsides: TV was only 40", only one shower, and the bedroom set up was a little awkward. Otherwise, a solid place to stay, and worth the low price.
