Country meets the sea here in this 1950's restored home with vaulted ceilings and comfortable sitting areas including open kitchen, living room and rec room on the first floor.
Enjoy the master bedroom loft suite above with a private bath. The downstairs bedrooms are a good option for family members, children, or friends to share. Pull out the sofa in rec room for an extra sleeping area or to watch a movie. Gather around the fireplace in the living room at night, entertain in separate indoor dining room or outside on the patio overlooking the yard.
In the morning, head outside for coffee on the porch with a view of the farm or better yet, stroll across the street to their market for some farm fresh eggs to prepare a delicious breakfast.
There is plenty of room in the yard to spend relaxing or for kids to play. Don't forget to try the outside shower after spending the day on the privately deeded beach or tennis courts. All amenities and the beach are a short 10 minute walk away as you cut through the path in the yard. For an added bonus, choose from two owner provided stand up paddle boards (SUPs) or a kayak to cruise off into the water.
If you are looking for a quiet escape away from the city with natural surroundings on the bay, yet a short drive to ocean beaches and towns, this is the place for you.
I own a busy children's therapy practice in Brooklyn. My other half is from Cartagena Colombia. We love to spend time in nature, cooking, and listening to music. We had fun designing the house.
Owner/Manager purchased this cottage in 2015
The inspiration for the property was a lifestyle change to be able to spend more time in a natural environment with the tranquility of water and/or countryside. I had set my sights on Rhode Island to check out the local real estate and was on the way. However, that trip was cancelled when a friend informed me about this property. After seeing the photos, of course I jumped at the opportunity to get away from it all in just 2 hours and 15 minutes (with no traffic) and absolutely fell in love with this cottage and the community, one of just a few of it's kind built in the 1950's.
There were many 'perks', including the short walk to the beach from the house and a rural feel where you can road trip to Southampton Village and Sag Harbor in about 10-15 minutes. The ocean beaches of Flying Point and Cooper's Beach are also a few minutes drive away for surfing, spending the day etc. There is a deli, a fishmonger, and a few lovely restaurants nearby as well.
Casa Noyac is located in a private beach community with access to water sports and gear to access kayaking and paddle boarding. The yard is huge and has an outdoor shower, is family friendly, has updated kitchen and baths, beautiful wood floors throughout, a vaulted ceiling and restored 1950s cottage architecture! A throw back in time to kick up your feet indoors or out and invokes the illusion that city is a far off place.
