The second time we stayed here. The condo is truly wonderful. Roomy, glorious decks overlooking the river, clean, well stocked, and the best location - walking distance to almost everything.

Cate is the perfect hostess.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

Stayed her for a week with my husband. We enjoyed every minute of it! The pictures don't do this place justice. It was awesome being right on the river. The condo was stocked with way more things then I thought it would be. There was a binder with a bunch of information about the area. Short walk to just about anything in the Pearl or Downtown. Will definitely try to book this place again next time we come back. Really can't think of any cons.

Beautiful and Perfect Location!!

  • 5 of 5

A smooth and easy transaction from beginning to end. Cate makes it so easy to reserve the condo stay and quickly responds to any needs we questions you may have. We stayed there as a family of four and had plenty of room. The condo is exactly as it appears in the photos. The upstairs patio is wonderful for mornings or to relax in the evening. The condo is very well stocked from coffee, spices, kitchen items, towels and more! Its a great location if you like the downtown area, like we did. As far as the trains, no problem! Slept perfectly well on very comfy beds. I would stay again for sure!

Beautiful condo with great kitchen for cooking.

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful modern condo with a great kitchen for cooking. Far more complete selection of pots, pans, and spices than any other vacation rental I've visited. And best part was stunning upstairs deck for enjoying dinner with water view.

Everything you need is already there....

  • 5 of 5

While this condo may seem a bit out of the way for those without an automobile, it is within walking distance of the Pearl District and downtown (if you're a walker), and close to the streetcar and the MAX (if you're not). The thing that is so special about it is that Cate has thought of everything a guest might conceivably need and has it readily available in the condo. The kitchen is remarkably well-equipped if you like cooking your own meals. There are even spices on hand so you don't have to buy them all. We stayed here during the winter, so we didn't get a chance to use the patio, but the views of the river are gorgeous and watching the river traffic can be addictive. As some reviewers have said, there is a good bit of noise from trains across the river, but I slept fine with a white noise machine and didn't have to use earplugs. That said, there are lots of outside decks and patios within a very small radius, so I imagine it could get much noisier during the summer. Some have said the condo is not suitable for over-55s, but we (62 and 73) didn't have problems, after getting the luggage up the stairs to the front door (which isn't all that difficult). If you have mobility issues, it is not for you, but your age should not be the determining factor. Very comfy and spotlessly clean, with a small library in case you don't want to go out on a rainy day. Cate is very responsive, so if you have any questions or problems, she will get right back to you.
