Not Impressed

  • 2 of 5

House seemed to be dirty...crumbs on the floor and Q-tips we found in the bathroom trash. Not 100% sure a cleaning crew had come which is somewhat concerning . Dishes were still in the dishwasher as well. For as much as I paid for this should be in better shape.

This rustic, secluded home in a gated golf community was perfect for traveling UL friends and family

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful rustic, secluded lake front home with sweeping views of the lake was exactly as advertised and depicted in the pictures. Very well appointed and maintained. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and use of the home with family and friends both before and after the football game. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful rustic house

  • 4 of 5

There were great things about this house- lovely side porch and dock in cove. However there was NO cabinet space to store your food. Since the upstairs and several other closets and cabinets are marked owners use - we used the stairs as our pantry.

There were also some housekeeping issues that I reported to the house manager. It is a very steep walk down to the lake so it wouldn't have worked at all,if my Dad had been there. Also my son had to leave his boat overnight parked as it couldn't have made it down the hill of the driveway. Be prepared for this if you are pulling a boat. Lots of cobwebs on everything outside - needs some special attention.

Nice house but...

  • 3 of 5

The house , dock and cove are very nice. As other have said the driveway is steep but its a lake house which is not uncommon. I have rented several lake houses before and ran into some things here that were very unexpected. The provided information does not give any info on a boat ramp. We called the number in the email and received no reply. There is a poorly designed boat ramp in the neighborhood btw. We chose to go to another one to pull our boat out. We arrive at the house to find security cameras in the living area. Not a welcoming feel. Makes me wonder if we found them all! "Things that make you go Hmmm". A warning would have been nice. The description of the house boasts a double decker boat dock and slip but the slip is taken up by the owners jet skis! Again no warning. They did warn us not to put anything in the toilet that we didn't eat. I get the septic issue (common for a lake house) but if you are going to do that please leave enough toilet paper for the weekend! As the other review said last year , only 3 of 5 burners work on the grill. The most frustrating thing is we were not warned of these things and did not get a reply from my 2 phone calls. Oh one more thing..AT&T mobile service doesn't work well at the house. Enough with the negative stuff. Overall the house is very nice, well furnished , it is clean and plenty of room for 3 couples and a few kids. It is a nice quiet area on the lake even on a 4th of July weekend. The neighborhood put on fireworks over the water that were very good. Assuming the things I mentioned were correct or warning provided, I would recommend this place to others.

Owner's Response: Bryan, Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. The cameras in the living room are to protect against theft, property damage, rule violation, parties and pets. These cameras are only in the living room, nowhere else in the house. Thank you, The Evolve Team

Beautiful Retreat.

  • 5 of 5

Quiet, comfortable home with amazing views of the lake. Fully furnished with everything we needed. Even toys for my great grand son. Cable for movies and Wi-Fi for staying in touch. We ate at several local restaurants. All good. BBQ was awesome. We also when to the State Park and hiked. There is a play ground with equipment in the neighborhood that we also spent time at. This house is hugh with plenty of family together space and private time space. It was very healing for us at a time we had lost a family member.

Spacious, easy accomodations perfect for our group

  • 5 of 5

Family group of 9 enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July at this secluded, comfortable lake house. The place was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and floor plan conducive to family gatherings. There was plenty of seating and I loved the long, long dining table with enough seating for everyone! The younger folks in our crowd made the basement, with its separate living and kitchen areas, their own. We also got a lot of use out of the double-decker dock and spent alot of time enjoying the lake from its vantage point. We will definitely go back again!
