What makes this apartment unique

All of our guests have totally enjoyed the opportunity to use our front veranda. It is very large and provides an excellent outdoor, protected environment to sit and relax after a long touring day and sip on some of the wonderful wines that they have discovered.

Great Apartment - Accomodating Hosts

  • 5 of 5

Brian,

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed staying in your lovely apartment. Everything was there that one would possibly need. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. So sorry that we did not get together to chat, we would have liked to get to know you and Karen better, but your area was so beautiful we just really enjoyed it. We did get to eat at a winery and buy some wine. We also saw 3 different ships go through the lock and we visited the Falls and Butterfly Conservatory, then went to see the Whirlpool.

Mother nature sure was busy in your area.

Thanks again,

Joe and Candy

Owner's Response: We love that Candy and Joe enjoyed their visit to Niagara and their stay at our home. Yes we would have loved to spend time with them but our schedules unfortunately did not mesh. We do always extend the offer to our guests to use our entire property even if we are not available to share it with them. Hope that they are able to come back again and experience more of the beauty of Niagara. Brian

Cozy Abode

  • 4 of 5

Spent time in this lovely basement apartment for a family getaway for a few days. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owners operate the temperature and I found it got a bit muggy and still in the basement area, I would have preferred a little more circulation. I also suggested to the home owners to consider a firmer mattress and pillows. I had to resort to the couch to sleep each night for a better night's rest. Other than that I would recommend this apartment to travelers looking for a quiet escape from all the noise and action from heavy Tourist attractions. The community and the property is lovely! My encounter with the home owners was brief. I understand some of the previous lodgers spent time with Brian and Karen relaxing on their lovely garden patio with cocktails. That invitation was not extended to me and my family.

Owner's Response: We are pleased that Paulette and her family had an enjoyable stay at our home enjoying the Niagara area. We are sorry that the beds were not supportive for Paulette but this is actually the first time that any of our guests have mentioned this. We will take this constructive comment and look into the matter to ensure the comfort of all our guests. Yes we would have loved to have spent time with them but our schedules unfortunately did not mesh. We do always extend the offer to our guests to use our entire property even if we are not available to share it with them. Brian

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Brian & Karen's apartment. The kitchen is very well stocked if you prefer to cook instead of order out. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. They had a pack & play and a high chair available for my 1 and a half year old daughter. The playground nearby was nice and there is a bike/walking trail there too. The location was great, a quiet neighborhood but still close (30 minutes) to the Falls. They also had a lot of brochures/information available for attractions in the area. We had a great time and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to the Niagara area.

Sincerely, Jenn & Matt

Owner's Response: We thoroughly enjoyed hosting Jennifer and her family. We do try to go out of our way for young families and greatly appreciate the feedback that we are doing everything we can to make their vacation comfortable and pleasant. Do hope that Jennifer and family will pay us another visit next year. Brian

Don't miss out of this gem!

  • 5 of 5

I have already forwarded a review to Homeaway/VRBO ..it did not get posted.

This apartment was fantastic, the owners are great people ready to meet your every need. We stayed from July 14th to the 21st, 2017 and were treated to a pound of coffee and a fridge full of condiments. This rental is stacked with all your needs, i.e. spices, soap for washing clothes and dishes. Pots, pans, slow cooker, blender are just some of the items supplied. The beds are comfortable, Wi Fi works extremely well and we very much enjoyed having Netflix. We lingered many evenings on their beautiful front patio and thoroughly enjoyed being out there. We cannot say enough about the wonderful owners! Many thanks to Karen and Brian. Sincerely, Kim and Henriette

Owner's Response: Henriette and her daughter Kim were wonderful guests. Right from the fist pump Kim gave as she walked in to the spotless condition they left the apartment in we couldn't have asked for better guests. We are always happy when our guests enjoy all the amenities we provide especially when they enjoy and relax on the veranda. Brian and Karen

We enjoyed our stay in Saint Catherines.

  • 4 of 5

This is a downstairs room with 2 bedrooms. It is very comfortable and works well if you and the other guests are family. The one bathroom is situated between the second bedroom and the kitchem, so it is sometimes awkard. The owners were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.
