Perfect Summer Weekend Get-a-Way!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a couples weekend (with small child) at the Isle of Que Guest House. We had never been to the area and we were so happy to find this place tucked away on the Susquahanna river. We can't say enough wonderful things about our visit. The house is a rock throw from the river. It is decorated and cared for meticuously by the owners. The kitchen came fully stocked with drinks and snacks. The beds and linens were some of the most comfortable we've ever been in. The outdoor areas were our favorite though. The pool and hot tub area had multiple sitting areas (fireplace also). We quickly found the wrap around porch in the front as our favorite spot. It was the perfect place to watch the beauty of the river and relax. We used the multiple kayaks on site and we even floated in the inner tube and enjoyed the water. The water was crystal clear and we casually fished the banks.

There were multiple bikes available and we absolutely loved biking the island and into town. We found some cute antique shops and places to eat. The Isle of Que Guest House was a dream for us. It's the perfect mix of being able to relax at times or do activities. We can't wait to come again.

A beautiful home on the river with thoughtful touches

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for a better rental for a low-key Bachelorette weekend. Aside from the beautiful interior, comfortble beds and gorgeous views - this was the easiest rental I've ever stayed in! Christi had it stocked with goodies, including eggs, milk and other drinks. Perfect for out of towners. I'll be recommending the Isle of Que Guest House to all of my friends and family looking for a quiet escape with all the comforts of home.

Amazing views, beautiful and clean property!

  • 5 of 5

We just had an amazing stay at Isle of Que! Christi was a great host! She had snacks and cold items stocked for us when we arrived. Also, a plate of freshly baked brownies that my children and husband devoured! Delicious! My three sons loved the pool and the views were breathtaking! Beds were very comfy! We are already planning our next trip to Pennsylvania!

A slice of heaven

  • 5 of 5

Christi and her husband go above and beyond. This property with storybook porch, and captivating view of the river is as relaxing as it is charming. The serenity of the Isle of Que, the friendly hosts and neighbors, the super beds (you'll sleep an extra hour, I promise), lovely furnishings, amenities (including top notch appliances) are as good as home making this spot a cut above. If you choose access to the pool you will enjoy your stay even more. The Hendricks Isle of Que property is a guaranteed good time for all ages during all seasons.

We had the best holiday weekend!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I just got home from a wonderful winter weekend in quaint Selinsgrove at Isle of Que Guest House. The wrap-around porch of this impeccably decorated Victorian cottage provides unobstructed views up and down the Susquehanna River and the perfect wicker seating to enjoy your wine or coffee while contemplating life as "the river runs through it." From warming by the outside fire to viewing the starry Pennsylvania nights from the "just right" hot tub and taking a pleasant walk around Isle trails, everything was perfect! As a VRBO manager myself in another state, I was extremely impressed with the owner's attention to every detail and expert delivery of the gift of hospitality. Not since we stayed at Roberto's little inn in Montepulciano, Italy have we enjoyed such service. Now, instead of us remarking Perfecto Roberto after every excellent evening out- it will be Perfecto Christi!
