A recent guest said: This condo was the perfect setting for our family of 6 to relax and explore the Charleston area. It is located centrally to the airport, historic Charleston, Mt Pleasant and the coast. We were able to access all these with a short and easy drive during our stay. The condo itself is perfectly appointed yet functional and comfortable. The attention to detail in terms of linens, furnishings, and space made us feel as if we were in a very nice hotel or resort. The owner could not have been more responsive and caring in our communication. In our case it was a last minute booking and the owner did everything to accommodate our situation. We appreciated the quiet, serene setting. We fell in love with Charleston and will be back and will definitely stay here if it is not already booked!

About Karen Hunt

Karen and Mike are foodies and love to travel for vacations around food, wine and exercise to allow themselves to eat and drink! Karen owns the company KaDieM Cellars and the wine brand Hunt McKay in Napa, CA with her two good friends, Danna and Michael (a different Michael). Mike is a Senior Project Engineer on large projects in the San Francisco area. Karen grew up in Charleston and is the only family member to move away from Charleston after she graduated from the College of Charleston with a BS in Biology. Karen will be the President of the Napa Rotary in 2015-16; this club is the 2nd oldest in CA and started in 1920. This is exciting because it will allow Karen to continue her volunteer work with Foster Youth and Youth at Risk.

This property is our third in Charleston. We love this area because it is equally distant between historic downtown Charleston and our favorite beach, Isle of Palms. The other reason that we wanted another property is because we keep bringing friends to Charleston to show them around and we need more and more space -- everyone LOVES Charleston.

Beautiful home!

Wonderful home, clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great, sheets, towels, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap was provided; kitchen was well stocked, dishwasher and washing machine soaps were provided, a great bottle of wine was enjoyed, and my OCD daughter was very pleased to see the beds had dust mite protectors on the mattresses! Close to main roads and we were provided with several ideas for dining out and places to see. Just a great place to stay! We hope to return to Charleston, SC and stay at the same home.

Comfortable condo, convenient to everything

What a great spot! Karen's condo is immaculate and very nicely decorated. Everyone in our group kept talking about how comfortable the beds were, and how peaceful and quiet it was the whole time we were there. I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a comfortable place to rest and relax after dark s of taking in the Charleston area. Stuart contacted me within an hour of our arrival to make sure everything was satisfactory. Staying here definitely enhanced our weekend trip. I will be calling on them the next time we make a trip down.

Easter Stay on Daniel Island

Tastefully decorated with room to spare for my family of 5 humans and 2 little dogs. The owners were communicative to most of the email I sent and pleasant to work with. The space had everything for an extended stay in a quiet community that was also very friendly.

The dining room ceiling fan was out...but otherwise in absolutely perfect condition. Thanks for the stay...thanks for the memories! Highly recommended. :)

Interior exceeded expectations

This condo accommodated 4 adults better than expected. While compact, it was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The condo was well-stocked with kitchen supplies and other essentials, as well as some extra little surprises. It was also clean; and, we felt "right at home." The owners were communicative when we had questions and booking was very easy. Highly recommended! We would stay again.

Fantastic Condo

We had a great time staying at this condo while visiting Charleston and highly recommend this vacation rental. First, it was a quick and easy drive from the airport. It's also centrally located, so it was easy for us to get to downtown Charleston, the shore and golf. The owners had a bottle of wine waiting for us too. Nice touch. The condo itself is beautifully decorated with attention to detail everywhere. The beds were super comfortable and the condo was super clean. The owners also listed their favorite restaurants and we enjoyed their recommendations. We'll be back here again!
