Great place to stay while visiting NY. Quiet and charming
A lovely, safe, quiet and relaxing retreat from the intensity of NYC. Located 1/2 block from Prospect Park. Within a 10 minute walk to subway stations, markets and restaurants. The apartment is large and feels very spacious.. It is well stocked with anything you would need to feel at home. We hope to stay here again the next time we’re in the NYC area. Thanks Jack & Marisa for making this such a rewarding and enjoyable part of our NYC experience.
Park Slope Gem
A lovely clean well appointed roomy and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in Park Slope Brooklyn. Hope to go back again.
The best place we've stayed in Brooklyn
We've rented a bunch of place in the Park Slope area to visit our children, and Jack's place has the nicest feel of all of them. The layout is a little unusual, but it worked really well for us, with a real kitchen that you can actually cook in, a beautiful garden in back, and a great neighborhood right out the door--Prospect Park a short walk away, and all the restaurants and shops in Park Slope. Jack and his manager are incredibly responsive if a problem happens to come up. All told, a great experience. We'll be back!
Loved the place.
Great location, wonderful neighborhood. Terrific hosts! We will be back.
Thanks Hal. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
Lovely apartment with garden. Walk to Prospect Park, grocery, markets, and restaurants.
The apartment is generously stocked with linens and full kitchen. We enjoyed our 10 day stay. Jack & Marisa are easy to communicate with and very helpful throughout the visit.
hi Diane and Terry,
Great having you here as our guests and thanks for such a nice review.
Please come back again
The property is in one of the trendiest places in Brooklyn, Park Slope. There are restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, a library, movie theater, and banks nearby. Prospect Park is about 150 meters away, the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanical garden are a 10-minute walk. The Barclay Center, only one-half mile away and can be reached by walking or subway, is a hub for music and sports events. The neighborhood is diverse and filled with things to do. There is a fantastic Farmer's Market held every Saturday at Grand Army Plaza. Also nearby in Brooklyn: the iconic Brooklyn Bridge (about a mile away), the Williamsburg area, and Coney Island.
A quick subway ride will take you to the lower Manhattan Financial District, Battery Park, the Staten Island Ferry, the Statue of Liberty, or Governor's Island. Midtown Manhattan is a little farther on the subway, for theater, shopping, etc.
