Two steps down leads to your private entrance for peace and quite from the busy city. The hallway brings you to a large, open modern kitchen and living/dining area with large-screen cable TV, and air conditioner and door to the garden. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed, closet, TV, and enormous en-suite bathroom with radiant-heated floor, a hot tub, and separate walk-in shower.
There is also a second bedroom, with radiant heat, (sleeps 1) with a large picture window to view the garden, which has seating areas and a fountain.
This has been the primary residence for me and my family and now I'd like to share it with you, as I travel.

I fell in love with the neighborhood. It's proximity to so many restaurants, cultural places and distance to Manhattan.
Location, location, location.
The apartment is lovely and well appointed with everything you will need during your stay. It is in a great location: close to the subway, near tons of shops and restaurants, and walking distance to many local attractions.
I would definitely stay again!
My wife and I lived in Park Slope 40 years ago just a few blocks away and our return visit couldn't have been better. Jack and Marisa were gracious hosts. The apartment is lovely - tastefully decorated with a Brooklyn brownstone feel in a thoroughly modern setting. The kitchen and bathroom are top grade and the garden is beautiful. An unusually warm February allowed us to enjoy it a little. Just down the block from wonderful Prospect Park and a short walk to restaurants and shopping. And I enjoyed reading Wine Dogs, Volume 3. 😀 We had a great stay and recommend it highly.
A spacious, well appointed ground floor apartment with a very gracious helpful manager and owner. My wife did not like the fact that access to the master bedroom is through the bathroom, but that is a quibble. Overall first rate.
The owner and manager are real pros and very adept at making our stay perfect. The apartment is very well appointed with top of the line kitchen appliances and a genuine spa bathroom. We loved the bed and the quiet street. The garden looked like a moment out of an Italian sonnet including a gurgling fountain on a fence.
We enjoyed a 4-day stay at this lovely property and wish we could have stayed longer. The owner and property manager were both welcoming and very helpful. The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything we could need. It is about a block from Prospect Park and just a few blocks from shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. We hope to go back soon!
My family of three enjoyed our week in a lovely, well appointed garden apartment that combines modern convenience (a full, well-equipped kitchen, a huge TV set, A/C throughout) with an air of the times gone by (a multitude of books, magazines, pictures and movies, a private, tranquil backyard, the bathroom that is 'a religious experience"). Jack and Marisa went out of their way to make us feel at home; they immediately took care of even the tiniest concerns we had, and shared all sorts of interesting stories (about the history of the neighbourhood, the trips abroad....) and suggestions (as to what to see, where to eat....) I would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a place to rest and regroup after a busy day of sight-seeing.
The property is in one of the trendiest places in Brooklyn, Park Slope. There are restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, a library, movie theater, and banks nearby. Prospect Park is about 150 meters away, the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanical garden are a 10-minute walk. The Barclay Center, only one-half mile away and can be reached by walking or subway, is a hub for music and sports events. The neighborhood is diverse and filled with things to do. There is a fantastic Farmer's Market held every Saturday at Grand Army Plaza. Also nearby in Brooklyn: the iconic Brooklyn Bridge (about a mile away), the Williamsburg area, and Coney Island.
A quick subway ride will take you to the lower Manhattan Financial District, Battery Park, the Staten Island Ferry, the Statue of Liberty, or Governor's Island. Midtown Manhattan is a little farther on the subway, for theater, shopping, etc.
