Modern 2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom Units Completely Remodeled Near The Beach

Driving up you will find a beautifully landscaped entry with palm trees highlighting the beauty of this sleek stucco building accented by a ceramic tile roof. This beautifully redone 4 plex offers 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom units with sleek and modern feel. The master bedrooms feature a lovely king size beds while the second bedrooms offer twin beds. Our bathrooms feature decorative sinks and beautifully tiled showers to prepare for your night on the town. The kitchens have new stainless steel appliances including full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, blender (for Pina Coladas & Margaritas), dishes as well as pots and pans needed for your stay. Each unit has central heating and air and plenty of closet space. There is a semi private swimming pool available to guests of the 4 plex and a quite deck area in which to relax or grill out. We have carefully chosen to provide a fresh inviting atmosphere by completely renovating the inside and outside of these units. It is conveniently located with easy access to the beach, shopping and great restaurants. With a semi-private pool for guests of the four units and you will find this relaxing getaway great for couples, families or small groups seeking the adventures of South Padre Island.

Should the Township of South Padre Island issue a Mandatory Evacuation order or Because of Server weather heading to the island or you de side not to come with in the last 7 days the Owner or GM is under no obligation to refund any portion of the Guests rental fee. For that reason, the Owner an Gm strongly encourages the Guest to purchase Travel Insurance

Why You May Need It

In many ways, packing for a condo rental vacation is much like packing for a hotel stay; you’ll need your personal items like clothes and toiletries. In some ways, however, it differs. Because rentals allow you to cook your own meals and don’t have housekeeping staff on the premises in most cases, you will need to bring a few extra things to enjoy your stay.

• Paper products: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins

• Rentals have only a starter supply so odds are good that you’ll run out Basic seasonings

• Rentals may have salt and pepper-but they may not, and a few other basic spices make cooking easier as well.

Real nice condo only a block from the beach, but the mattresses are noisy and uncomfortable.

Good location

The best thing about this rental is the location. As for the condo, it has potential. Would take so little to make it really nice. We found the building itself to be very nice with high recessed ceilings and nicely painted. The leather furniture in the living room was in good condition and comfortable. Newer modern appliances. Cleaning on the surface was acceptable, but it needs a good deep cleaning. Dirt on the bathroom vanities, dusty ceiling fans and filthy windows were among the unfortunate oversights. But appliances were clean and drawers in kitchen clean and neatly arranged. (There were no washer and dryer when we arrived so I contacted the owners and they had them installed the next day!) The first thing that caught my eye was the shabby dining room table and chairs. It was kind of cute in the pictures. But in reality, the wicker is broken and tattered and the seat backs are so straight up and uncomfortable I could not sit on them. The flowered seat cushions are flat, ragged and dirty looking. I brought plastic chairs in from the deck to use. Then there were the lamp shades. First, there were no lamps in the living room so I moved one from the bedroom we weren't going to use. The shade was covered with brittle cellophane which crumbled into tiny pieces when touched. The lamp shade in the master bedroom had been covered with contact paper which was coming loose on the edges. The mattress on the king bed was another story. Extra firm with little padding and "creaky". Was almost like sleeping on the box springs. Someone else told us that's the way Mexican beds are. ? I woke the first morning with head and neck ache. I had my husband move one of the twin mattresses from the other bedroom to my side of the bed. It wasn't perfect but no more pain. There were burnt out light bulbs and trash on one of the closets, things like that. Like I said, it would take so little to make it really nice. In spite of all we had a good time. Very short walk to the beach and close to everything. We didn't have a car and got along fine walking and using the shuttle. It is a busy street so if you prefer a quite setting, this is not it. The pool area was very nice, water too cool for swimming. Favorite dining: Ceviche Ceviche is incredible. We went to Coconuts for sunset and ate $1.50 burgers many nights. Their lunch special are until 7:00 pm--the fish and shrimp basket is great for $5.99. We like Kelly's Irish Pub for the Irish nachos--yum! White Sands for seafood/Mexican.

Great location. Walking distance to everything. Close to the beach, bars & restaurants, etc... My friends and I rented the whole building. Ended up being less than a hotel and had way more room...
