Stayed here with my mom and her friend for a few nights and felt it was okay with some pros and some cons.
Pros: Big amount of space, decent view (sans the freeway), decent price for summer in Portland, somewhat close to the eastern promenade walk (though need to walk past the water treatment plant or busy road to get there).
-Kitchen utensils and pots/pans fairly well stocked
-A/C unit in living room reaches most of the house if you leave the bedroom doors open
-Owner was pleasant to book with and helpful
-Cleaning was far below average- there were 4-5 obvious spiders throughout the house, a huge web that was inside near the bathroom window (that was left 100% open with no screen); an old water bottle under our bed, a knife was stuck in the artwork, a ton of old food was left in the fridge, and lots of dust under the furniture.
-Location wasn't great- it's next to a dilapidated house and very close to several busy roads- though the traffic noise wasn't too bad.
-The owner has attempted to update the condo, but the work isn't fully done (many sockets unfinished) and the work that has been done isn't very polished. For example, the microwave does not work at all, the crown moldings are uneven in places and not flush with the ceiling, missing wood panels on the floor, bathroom sink clogs very easily, artwork is somewhat odd with one painting obviously dropped, cracked, and glued back together, one cabinet doesn't open due to a light being in the way etc...
-No blinds in the 2nd bedroom which is very, very bright in the morning.
-Parking clearly states one spot per unit, but most times we tried to to park, there were no spaces left. It'd be better if the spaces were marked by unit.
Bottom line: Worth staying here if you're on a budget and need a good amount of space!
Kitchen well equipped.
Flat screen TV with plenty of channels.
Unit very clean.
Parking spot a bit blind when backing out.
Outside of town.
There is a view after looking over the U-haul depot and I-295.
Noisy from I-295.
Washington Avenue an exit for I-295, so it is busy.
No screens on any of the windows.
A/C too small for unit and opposite of quiet.
Grill on porch is filthy and unusable.
Owner of property not responsive to inquires.
Overall recommendation is neutral.
If you are going to be in Portland for a couple of days for one of the many festivals, it is acceptable. If looking to stay a week or more, you may want to continue looking.
Spectacular views and near what is called 'The Old Port' where they have, restaurants, theater, sailing, ferry's, quaint shop. and so much more.
