About Noah Elkin

My wife and I have been coming to Martha's Vineyard since we were both young children, and we've been bringing our children since they were born. We love the island! We currently live in New York State, just over the Massachusetts border.

Noah Elkin purchased this house in 2012

Why Noah Elkin chose Martha's Vineyard

Our property is a family home that has been in the family for over 15 years. It is near and dear to all of us, and we hope it will feel like home to you too.

What makes this house unique

Sitting on the back deck, enjoying the quiet of the woods, yet knowing you're only minutes away from town and fantastic beaches.

Great find for July 4th week!

  • 4 of 5

Very spacious, indeed close to Vineyard Haven. House lacks air conditioning but can be cooled to a comfortable level with open windows and provided fans. Very clean and modern decor. Beach toys were provided which was a generous amenity. Very rural setting. Ideal to unplug and get off the grid for a while.

The home was very cozy but spacious enough to enjoy. The stay was delightful, will definitely recommend to friends. The owner is very professional, a perfect place to call your second home.

Vineyard charmer

  • 5 of 5

What a delight to spend time in this Vineyard home. Everything was in perfect order, the beds were comfortable and the fully equipped kitchen allowed for the preparation of great meals using the wonderfully fresh local products. Great location affording privacy but within close distance of the town and beaches.

Will definitely return to this place.

Joseph Sylvia State Beach
Car: recommended

The Joseph Sylvia State Beach (the one made famous by 'Jaws') is the closest beach, and a go-to for us. It has easy access from the road and lots of parking (but no waves). If you want surf, you can go to Katama in Edgartown. Go earlier rather than later b/c parking spots fill up. Another good choice is the Trustees of Reservations beach at Long Point (http://www.thetrustees.org/places-to-visit/cape-cod-islands/long-point.html). You have to pay but it’s a beautiful spot with a pond and access to an ocean beach. Also good to go earlier than later b/c parking fills up.
